...there's player forums for a reason...

There's a difference between pride for your player and just plain showing off...

You guys did the same thing in every other grand slam... and almost said the same posts....

How come neither of you commented like this on the multiple Nadal fluff topics on the front page? This topic should be on the Federer forum, but shouldn't the Nadal serve topic be on the Nadal forum?

He should have won THE FEDERER SLAM, that would have looked better, you get an achievement named after you like what Nadal is trying to do now, and Serena did.

Id take 5 straight Wimbledons and 5 straight US Opens anyday :worship:

Your hero couldn't even do 5 straight finals at his dominant event. Federer managed 7 straight finals.

That's ok he can do 10 French Opens, in fact even 8 French Opens gets him the all-time record for any slam (ahead of Sampras' 7 Wimbledons).

FO is the hardest of the slams to win.

No its not, it's more that the style of play traditionaly required to win the is only useful for winning that slam.

Where as being good on fast surfaces gave you a shot at winning 2 or 3of the slams.

Now of course, that stupid blueprint can win all the slams due to the similar speed surfaces.

What?

And someone mentioned that I don't complain about the Nadal threads. I do.

I think both Fedtards and Rafatards are equally moronic.

I find Murraytards funny since they always try to chime in between and yet get disappointed.

This kind of thread is nothing more than a celebratory thread. There's nothing to discuss other than:

1) How much deeper can I deepthroat Federer
2) How much more hate can I spew at Nadal
3) How many more times can I tell Fed-haters that they're just jealous before I myself realize I don't have jack sh*t to flaunt about other than the fact that I'm a Fedtard.

Keep in mind, there are Fed FANS, then there are FedTARDS. I know the difference.

Was the easiest for Nadal, Kuerten and Bruguera to win. That's pretty conlusive man.

Clay-court specialists, apart from Nadal (although he is a specialist in terms of 'expert' but not in the one-dimensional sense). But I think Nadal plays better on grass anyway.

Clay-court specialists,

Your point being? Agassi, Sampras and Fed were/are hc specialists too...

Sampras has 7 Wimbledons, he's not a hard-court specialist (in the one-dimensional sense) he's just simply a great tennis player. Anyway, this went a bit off-track. Point I was making is the greatest players have struggled with the French Open more than any other slam. And I think its because most of the absolute best players are reliant on talent more than fitness, and the French Open requires the greatest level of fitness.

:haha:

u didnt understand what that stat meant.
it doesnt mean that he loses the match when he loses the 1st set.

it means once he has won the 1st set, he has gone onto win 104 matches and lost once.
