I just saw Roger in McEnroe's show. You can watch the replay if interested.

How was it?

Just saw the CR show. Same questions he always gets (for those who follow). I'd like to see him get an hour, but maybe in the future).

Couple of observations: Fed looked like a throwback to the 70s. If you didn't know what you were watching, you'd thought it was something from 1978.

Also, I didn't realize how nasal Fed's voice was.

Still, freakin' genius.

He's nasal because he has a cold.

I thought it was a very good interview, even though yes, it was more of the same questions he answers after every win. I was impressed with Roger because the excitement wasn't radiating anymore. He seemed calm, serious, mature and answered his questions with confidence and a little wit. It was like a different Roger than the one who was so giddy with joy yesterday after winning.

He seems to be the total package, soft and sensitive, then assertive and aggressive as it becomes necessary. I just admire him so much.

Great interview and I hope his cold clears up soon. I wish it was longer but alas.

Rogi DOES have a nasal voice even without the cold.

There were only two guests --- they postponed the appearance of the third... Roger came on in the second half. :)

he was very poised, very articulate, thoughtful. seriously, we need to find some flaws in this guy!... ;)

So Rog did 'Cold Pizza' on ESPN, 'The Early Show', 'Regis & Kelly', 'Charlie Rose Show' and then had lunch at the hard rock cafe. That's quite a tiring schedule for a victory tour... Considering he has just played 2 weeks of outstanding tennis!

I just watched it on tape.

Roger understands English very well. Although he did have a problem understanding the word "resurgence". He is human after all.

One interesting tidbit. Roger says he learned that move, where he bounces the ball between his legs when serving, from basketball.

I was going to comment on the nasalness of Roger's voice, I thought he had a col and I was right. I was flipping through the channels, and I was like ":retard: Why is Roger on this stupid show?" and I ended up catching the last 7 minutes or so. Good interview, though I'm sure they are all repeat questions.

Charlie Rose is as prestigious as it gets. Think Bernard Pivot (sp?).

I did find Robert McNamara's interview a lil' more fascinating, truth be told. :D
