Damn, what a weak list. Easy for Montanes.

Why the fuck is Tommy in Metz and not here?

The list is basically what is usually is. Clay court-only players, Mayer who seems to play everything, and lower ranked fringe players. I think Kamke could go really deep here. Also, Igor needs to do well here or he can kiss a year end top 100 position good bye.

Pretty bad list
Last 2 years players like Gasquet Almagro Simon or Monaco came here but now is nothing special:shrug:..i like only Mayer and Chardy here

poor field, hope Kubot can make it to the 2nd round :o

yes, I think it is the poorest list after 2000 when the tournament was in the same with with the Olympics. still it is a traditional clay tournament won in the past by guys like Ivanisevic, Muster, Berasategui, Ferrer, Melzer or Simon.

we used to have 2-3 players from top 15 in the last year, the problem is ot the US Open but also other tournaments included in the same period.

anyway, we will still see players like: Montanes, Fl.Mayer, Chela, Hanescu, Starace, Seppi, Chardy and also Andreev, Gabashvili or Bolelli is they qualify.

this year, the exhibition part will include: Mats Wilander, Mansour Bahrami, Henri Leconte and of course Ilie Năstase.

Clay Tournament and no brazilian...

long distance my friend. it doesn`t worth to fly 10.000 km for a single tournament(is the last one on clay). You have a lot of strong challengers there.

I think Gil is out, cause he say that he will take a mini holidays and only come back in Napoli CH. But hope he will go back in that decision. Good chance for some easy points in an ATP 250, since the field is very weak...

too bad Dolgopolov isn't playing this, easy points for Montanes anyway

Hi, there. Nice talking to you all!
Gil might have changed his mind, since he didn't sign up for Palermo. So, he should play here. We'll see today. :)

Shit, the bad news is confirmed, Gil out!:(

Anyway, he's gonna be too tired for these tournament, because of DC (yesterday he played 4 hours), today he will play doubles, and tomorrow probably another match, so he will do nothing in Bucarest...
