Well, he probably wouldn't get bagelled ;) but it wouldn't have mattered.

i don't there there would be bagels flying... but the way federer has played, the result wouldn't have been much better.

And then people laugh and brush aside Roddick as some sort of threat to Roger, when Hewitt got served not one but 2 bagels.:haha: He would have put up more of a fight simply because he has a heck of a lot more weapons than Hewitt, but Roger was too good, yet again.:)

Roddick would have been a totally different match, probably four sets with at least one tiebreak. But still Roddick wouldn't have won it, Roddick played the best he could at Wimbledon and it still wasn't good enough. I think that was a real mental blow for Roddick and it really affected his summer results.

Let's think

- Roddick lost playing to Joachime Johanson
- Johanson got bagled by Hewitt in the Semi Finals
- Hewitt got baggled and Potatoed in the Finals against Federer. It wasn't even close.
- By transitivity Fedex baggles Roddick.

Dumbass, don't you know a thing called a 'match-up' issue?

If only it worked that way in tennis eh? Goenitz is right, you really aren't smart. "Transitivity" doesn't work in tennis.

Let's see. There are a couple of things wrong here: one, like everyone (and I agree) just said, the principle of "transitivity" would not work in this instance; and two, your logic is way off base. Try again, please. This time with a concrete example.

No. Andy would have thown his kitchen sink, bathtub etc etc at him to no avail. The only person capable of beating him this tournament was Andre Agassi. That quarterfinal was the final. You could tell by Fed's reaction at the conclusion of that match where he nearly ripped his shirt off that he had come through a titanic battle. The winner of that match would surely win the tournament, and so it proved.

I think that Federer was unbeatable in the way in that played today. Perhaps, Andy has won more games with his own service, and we haven’t had this double 6-0, but this awesome Roger would be the champion against Andy as well.http://www.smiliegenerator.de/smiley-flag/smiley-3326.png
