When I started managing some people sent to Evita instead of -Evita- :sad: Sadly I couldn't accept those picks even with screenshots because the rules say clearly that the picks have to be sent to the manager.

I obviously believe you, but it is about the rules, like -Evita- said.

There is always an option of clicking on my nick and choosing "send private message", this is when someone struggles with spelling as much as I struggle with counting :lol:

So idiotic, just a a number chances on all over year, rest of the players gathering points, not new players, so no chance ever to get in firts round QUALIFICATIONs in bigger tournaments. :cuckoo::cuckoo:

Then the arrogant world champion in boxing got to this jail for a short time and they had an official fight and Wesley Snipes won, but it never has really got anywhere into the media, only he and his prisonmates knew about the result :awww: Fits your story.

Lower points, yes, but plenty of MD free spots even for the unranked, and if you win one round you already have got the ranking. Some players within a few weeks are already able to play the Q in the big tournaments.
We've been encouraging all the lower ranked to withdraw from here and go to a challenger. Good luck next time.

Many players here started from zero...One guy, who called Mishka, twice was burn in GS, when hi started in Qualy. Semi-final and 1\4 in AO and Wimbley . All you need are skill and woodoo-girls in some tennis-player :)

You see, ATP level tournaments are different from Challengers. Each tournament has its own forum and for each tournament there are several games played - like Tennis Tipping, Pick A Winner, Fill In The Draw, Suicide Tennis and so on. Challenger tournaments have only one thread for each tournament (instead of a whole forum) so TT for challengers is played in the Games forum.

Asking for direction is not a stain on the honour.

Anyway I forgot about the MD :tape: I'll do it after the volleyball match, probably around 6 p.m. CEST.

qczi is the only who hasn't sent his picks in yet so he'll win Labamba award (or if he doesn't send, l_mac will win) :p

Got to love when people first whine to give them all the possible differences, and once you give it, you still have to sit in front of the computer 24/7 because they will not be able to count them. I am not a math genius, a handicapped actually, but knowing my own picks and the differences, I am always able to count the score.

Anyway it could've been nearly accurately read from the differences; the only unknown from here was if 2 players were on Kohli or 1, because all sanity tells you the other team was experimenting with picks like Anderson, Chardy, Polansky, while the top seeds resorted to the safe picks.

most of the matches involved clear -or semi clear- winners

meaning..it kind of became a very predictable oop esp since we all know what will our rivals picks due to the excess in tt cagonism :lol:

After all, in doubles there was no CB needed. But it's true in one match there was only one SR difference (but even without it, PTS would decide).

I'm not around high stage TT, does it often happen at these lower stages (than final, maybe even SF) that a CB is needed?

PS2. I know I promised scores at around noon but we had an unexpected client and I had few hours off the screen; I would have warned otherwise if I had known.

I didn't see anyone panicking, artificially or otherwise :shrug: I just wanted confirmation because it wouldn't be the first time there was a missing difference or some other mix-up. It's pretty standard stuff, I still don't understand why you got so mad.

On a different subject, it's a sad news but we lost the doubles :sad: Good picking by our opponents :yeah:

it is rarely seen a CB situation these days. it does happen in situations in which the oop becomes a routine in TT terms (no matter how badly federer is playing, the tt community will rarely pick against him)

it is pretty clear who will win in today's oop to the TT community, hence, the CB becomes relevant but that doesnt happen oftenly since there are usually some upsets and close matches in the oop. this was not the case: Murray, Djokovic, Nadal, Federer, Nalbandian-Soderling, kohlschreiber, Davydenko, Berdych.. all facing weaker opponents in papers. surprises do happen -like davydenko today- but you know, people tend to pick favourites 2x0 so this was THE oop for the CB and it did happen.
plus it is a M1000 QF and people tend to think "this is a big stage, i wont risk that much". :shrug: some insights why there was CB in this round
