Well done, over Robert Kendrick in the final :yeah:
Love it or not, he is the best young American player after Querrey and Isner.
He also made the SF of a challenger a few weeks ago. Hopefully he keeps this up. Dude has talent.
He's in the draw for the Ojai challenger this week too.

Don always does well at the challenger level
It's just a matter of whether or not he can take it to another level in the bigger tournaments..

He's about one good result during the summer away from the top 100 again. That's after being out of the top 200 just in November and starting the season at 194. He's still a little inconsistent but he's picked it with the results this year compared to the last two. He's still a really talented kid, whose only 20 years old. If he makes the MD of the US Open, he can definitely pull off some good wins. He may not be a star but he should be a solid pro.
He's got a pretty good draw for this upcoming week, but he might play Sweeting in the SF, another young kid whose knocking on the top 100. So US tennis is not dead after Roddick, we still have guys around who will be a factor after he retires.
