He is going to have to deal with slice backhands and off pace stuff from Fedclown, lets see if he can do a bit better than last year.

Great performance by Söderling here. Playing a high-risk game and to good effect most of the times. He was the one dominating and dictating the way the points were played from the very start.

A couple of lapses in the first and the third set but the overall result was never in doubt. Now go for the glory, legend.

I hope I'm wrong, but Federer will most likely improve his H2H-record to 150-0 against Söderling... Federer is just too smart, too good of a player for Robin. Federer will mix it up, play short crosses, dropshots, make Robin come out of his comfort zone. 3-0 or 3-1 to the Swiss superstar.:music:

They have similarly game but Soderling has every shot except volley better than Cilic . Cilic is slightly better mover but the biggest Cilic's problem is that he can't go toe to toe with his opponent and get over his opponent when both are playing well . Every time he goes down in big moments and can't win close sets . That was also Robin's problem before year or two but Magnus really improved his mentality . Cilic probably needs some permanent coach which will travel every week with him and helped him on some other way than Brett in these few weeks per year
