I only saw third set but Nando looked very good. Tape is off the elbow and he was playing well.
Keep it up. :rocker2:

It's nice to see him in a good mood too, after the whole debacle in Nice. The french crowd didn't boo him either, so that was a pleasant surprise. I liked what he wrote on the camera at the end "I see you, besos." ETA: I forgot to write that the only negative today was the first set, should have been 6-3 and not 6-4. But he improved in the second and third set though. Sunfire 05-25-2010, 11:44 AM Good job Nando. Good luck for the next rounds Acer 05-25-2010, 11:49 AM Too bad. philosophicalarf 05-25-2010, 12:06 PM Good stuff, he really needs a few easy+quick wins, the body might not hold up too well to a long hard match. Serra next should be easy enough, but after that it's Kohl, which might be tricky if he's in the mood. Keep up the good work, Nando! henke007 05-25-2010, 01:04 PM Tabasco against Serra on a sidecourt could be funny!! coonster14 05-25-2010, 01:07 PM nice win for nando. onto 2nd round. :) Ales_Alessandra 05-25-2010, 01:32 PM  :woohoo: :yeah: Well done Fer! R2 next, keep enjoying the ride! :D vn01 05-25-2010, 02:05 PM Congrats Nando Pirata. 05-25-2010, 09:53 PM Good win in three. Conserve your energy, Fernando! n3gative 05-25-2010, 10:59 PM I fear for Nando after Wimbledon. Wonder if the body holds up. Ales_Alessandra 05-25-2010, 11:47 PM :awww: Arkulari 05-26-2010, 01:10 AM Good stuff Nando, keep your energy :yeah: Pirata. 05-26-2010, 01:52 AM I fear for Nando after Wimbledon. Wonder if the body holds up. He could skip the Davis Cup quarterfinals (don't think he will though, not against France on a hard court) but he will have at least two weeks off after, and maybe he will withdraw from Gstaad (does he REALLY need any more clay matches?) to give himself a month break before Toronto. Good scenario, I hope he follows it. Nando's very fit but he's not built to be an "Ironman" like say Davydenko, he can pick up little injuries very easily. I_Dasco 05-26-2010, 05:11 AM Nando did great job! Its up to him .. with his decision ... We support and trust every of your decision | |
