Not a huge upset. Feli, for whatever reason, simply cannot bring it at RG. His results have been poor to say the least the past several seasons. Also, Reister has a game that can frustrate Feliciano.

Feliciano has made it past the 1st round 3/10 times at the French and 1/10 times past R2. He either hates Paris and these courts or he's just focused on Wimbledon, because it just doesn't work for him here. Interesting result though since the courts are quicker now, he should do better, might be mental block.

Feli has nothing to do on clay, really. He should just focus on grass and HC.

I don't think he's injured, he's just never had particularly good results at RG, regardless of his earlier clay season.

Ugh, I should have picked Lopez to lose. He tends to always lose early but he won a couple before he came in.
If there's ever a seeded player you can rely on to be upset it's him.

Oh,well, Deliciano didn't have many points to defend - lost 2nd round last year. He wins a few, loses a few, then has a round of 16/quarter final run in a major to keep him solidly in the top 40. That's how it will be with him for as long as he plays. And he gets to play DC doubles no matter what his ranking is. So not a bad tennis life at all. Forget this drubbing, Deli, and move on to Wimbly with my blessings.

FeLo needs to go back to the drawing board. Verdasco needs to share his secret with FeLo. For a while, they were just "pretty boys" who lost a lot and then Verdasco apparanly got tired being a female Anna Kournikova and decided to not only keep looking good but to play good tennis also. Apparantly they haven't passed the message onto FeLo. I"m not surprised when he loses anymore, I'm more shocked when he wins.

He's actually had a reasonably decent season this year, especially compared to the starts of seasons he's been having. His season doesn't really start until Wimbledon, so not too much should have been expected of him here if you look at the past results.

I think Feli cares about tennis but he is less focused and seems to have some type of drama following him most of the time which takes away from his ability to put his full attention on the game. If he were more focused like Nando then his results would definitely be better.
