Being on an 8-match winning streak on clay, Schukin should win his first (and only) Grand Slam match since Australian Open 2001. Ram cares so little about clay that he went back to playing hard court Challengers after Houston this year, at least he played Houston I guess. Ram was the ultimate draw for any qualifier (check out his clay record (http://www.atpworldtour.com/Tennis/Players/Top-Players/Rajeev-Ram.aspx?t=mr)!).

Very easy 3-set win for Rajeev, who is only playing this event as match practice to peak for Newport.

Yuri 3-0  This would be one of his bigger career $ cheques on court.

He does not care, of course, because he can't walk on clay, yet alone run or slide, wasted talent, with proper coaching and support he would have been the real deal, roger or rafito would not stand a chance, what a talented young man and amazing tennis player

Schukin in three. I'd love to see another Illini do well, but it is quite obvious that Ram couldn't care less. I hate to say it, but Ram is the easiest spot on the entire draw imo. This is actually one of those matches where both players have to be happy with their draws, as Schukin gets to advance a round while Rajeev won't be completely embarrassed.

Even Paul Goldstein once won a match at RG, so Rajeev could surprise us. But obviously Yuri should consider himself extremely lucky with this draw.

Epic match. Shame they had to meet this early.
