pretty easy except for the second set (over 70 minutes  )

Seems like a nice straight forward win. Anyone see how he played? They always schedule him first and its too early for me.

I saw only TB and he was solid. Unlikely I'll see anyhting before second week except the Gasquet/Murray treat, so you'd better make it there Marin :armed:

tennizen

Cilic playing now:scared:

oranges

Are you watching? How is he playing? I see Maye took the second to make it one set all.

tennizen

Not watching.Just following the scoreboard. The live streams I have don't cover Cilic's court:(

There is a link on livescore hunter if you need http://www.livescorehunter.com/index.php?option=com_lsh&view=lsh&event_id=18874&tid=7821&channel=0&tmpl=component&layout=popup&Itemid=207. I think I'll leave it on to at least hear the sound and comments while I'm toiling at this never-ending translation :sobbing:

Roller-coaster TB with lots of mini breaks. Hold those two serves now :armed:

oranges
05-28-2010, 05:46 PM
Damn, he really needs to do something about that TB record.

one more 1/8 final on GS's in his young career
7. time at age of 21, 5 from last 6 GS. ha had matc point or two for 6th (haas in wimbledon). that's really great
if he beat soderling he will get 30. win on GS (he has 12 losses, but 3 of them was in his first GS season when he was without a win)
he is on 29:8 in this season. really well
i think he can even beat federer in quaters. it would be great if he will make appereance with him

oranges
05-31-2010, 12:12 AM
Aye, 4th round is solid in RG, but by all accounts he did not put up much of a fight today, which is a shame (or not if Soderling is to challenge Federer, depends how you look at it, I guess ;)).

Onto the much more exciting grass season :rocker: Hopefully, he won't draw Mahut again in Queens first round, or Llodra this time. I'd like too see more of both fine grass courters and Marin

-junie-

honestly, soderling wasn't playing that well and marin just had a bad day. the serve made a huge difference
