It was definitely an emergency! It was the first time I cooked pastitsio. Very stressful experience because I had invited my roommates to dinner promising them something special. :rolleyes: Everything was going according to plan until I started preparing the bechamel. It just wouldn't thicken! :mad: Of course there was nothing else to do but call my mother in the middle of the night to help me troubleshoot. :shrug: :rolls:

In the end everything worked out perfectly :sport: ...except that we had dinner with a 2 hour delay and my parents didn't have a good night's sleep. :lol:
