How some people get WCs into some of these events is beyond me. For starters, Kosakowski has only won one match on the futures level, having lost 2-6, 0-6 at the futures level just three months ago. Last year he got a total of five games against Sorenson/Berankis in trying to qualify for two challengers, and somehow he gets a WC into the main draw here??? There's not a player in the field that he would have been even remotely competitive against, and it is embarrassing for sponsors to waste WCs in this fashion imo.

Cook winning is good for Donald! Congrats to Lester for the upset. I think Don will win the tournament now.

How some people get WCs into some of these events is beyond me. For starters, Kosakowski has only won one match on the futures level, having lost 2-6, 0-6 at the futures level just three months ago. Last year he got a total of five games against Sorenson/Berankis in trying to qualify for two challengers, and somehow he gets a WC into the main draw here??? There's not a player in the field that he would have been even remotely competitive against, and it is embarrassing for sponsors to waste WCs in this fashion imo.

Relax!! The probable reason for the WC is b/c he won the USTA Spring Intl tourney, held at the Carson training Ctr.

I hope ur griping this much about Devin Britton getting all the WCs he's gotten. He's only won a couple matches at the Futures level also.

Kendrick is a cool cat but I was there for the Matesovic/Levine match and came away very impressed with Matesovic's game. Great serve and nice aggressive ground strokes. I look forward to watching him again definitely.

He kept on blowing his nose and constantly asked for the towel...I wonder if that was some tactic of his or did he really have some kinda cold or flu but it sure threw Levine off his game.

Donald is going to beat Kendrick tomorrow. They have played 8 times, H2H is 4-4 but Donald has won 4 of the last 6 matches and two straight. It's the perfect match-up for Donald. His consistency, left-handedness, change of pace and movement will end up being too much for Robert to overcome.

He played really well today, Kendrick was horrible and had a bad attitude. Congrats to Donald, much needed win!

He's going to be around 120 with this win, and he has virtually nothing to defend throughout the summer (just 1 QF) so with one more good result, he'll be right around the top 100, just in time for the US Open. Hopefully he uses this week as a springboard for future tournaments.
