In the loving memory of banned Everko, Lamine Ouahab advanced to the final of Rome Challenger beating Yuri Schukin in two sets.
Filippo Volandri was losing 1-5 to Jesse Huta Galung to win 7-5 6-1. It's his first challenger final since August last year. About the time he finds the right path back, ATP needs the serveless players :).

What a choke from Jesse. Still, congrats Volandri on this come-back. Hope Ouahab wins though.

Challengers are fun. Never in the world you will find a final between an overweight Algerian and a mug.

Challengers are more fun than the main tour. Never in the world you will find a final between an overweight Algerian and a mug.

I'm with Super Pippo he's really chosing a very nice calendar in this year when he is earning a lot of pts and going up in the table without exhausting games. Couple years ago he defeated Roger in Rome maybe he want to write another achievement to himself in this town. Ouahab I saw him only few times he isn't stuff for TOP200 he sometimes only have a nice week like in the past in Africa and in Italian challengers.

Ouahab was playing really bad lately but always peaks in one or other challenge this time of the year.
