But, despite that, expected.

Rafa was hitting winner after winner from virtually all positions of the court. Hand over the title to Rafa!!:worship: Clay King is here! I am glad that Michael won at least one game.

VAMOS RAFA!!!! EL TOROOOOOO! 28 winners!!!

ATP should consider additional third round Bye for Nadal on clay , I'm serious. It's a waste of time, it's not even a practice.

What's more, even when Rafa would be unfit and play crap, no one besides Djokovic and maybe Federer would defeat him.

Did ANYONE honestly think that Berrer even has a shot to make this match competitive? I wasn't expecting 6:0 6:1 but I was pretty sure that Berrer would not get more than 4 games. Rafa needs to play some top 10 players. It's been forever since he beat anyone from top 10. Only then will we know his TRUE current form. He looked great in Indian Welles and Miami until he haced half decent opposition. I know this is clay, but stil...let's not get over excited by his 2 recent performances.

Since when is that relevant? If it wasn't for Fed, Safin, Roddick, Hewitt, Nadal, Djokovic and maybe some others would all be multiple slam winners and tennis greats

christallh24

"Apart from one..."? You can't get apart from one since Roger was the only other one playing. "You know", the one some think is the greatest of all time. What does is mean when Rafa's beaten the G.O.A.T more than he's been beaten?

Point is, you got to factor who they beat as much as slam totals. I'm sure Bjorn Borg, John McEnroe, Jimmy Connors, Ivan Lendl could have won many more slams than they did, but they were consistently running into just as great players.

Aww, hell, I'm done with this. I don't even know what the argument is about anymore.

Nadal has slam wins over FEDERER, AGASSI (was old and on his farewell), DJOKOVIC, MOYA, DEL POTRO and MURRAY (6 high calibre players). The latter two were before their big breakthrough as well.

Those hardcourts events weren't useless until your favourite was defeated by a old man who can't really move and Roddick. Yet he still made the semifinals of both those events choking in three sets to the eventual champions, despite having his chances to beat both of them.

Yeah because Federer, Murray and Nole all made it past the 3d round. If I remember correctly Djokovic got humiliated by that old man in two sets at Indian Wells before being outplayed by the likes of Rochus in Miami(he could not even beat a headcase Tsonga at the Australian). Murray in turn lost to Tipsarevic in Dubai, got hammered by an injured Soderling at Indian Wells, got outplayed by Fish in two sets at Miami and I don't even want to mention his humiliating loss this week at Monte Carlo. And Federer is too busy with his kids, he choked vs the likes of Baghdatis and Berdych.

People call Rafa useless on hard but at least he still manages to make the semis and this on his worst surface LOL.

You are not very bright are you? Fed did not have to overcome Nadal because Nadal usually does not get to the final of a grand slam. You have to look at the entire tournament, not just the final. And in grandslams its 16-6 for federer (yes hes older but nadal is not going to end up with as many grand slams as fed, not even close).
