According to Wojtek Fibak, he was hugged by Rafa Nadal in Monte Carlo after the Spaniard had heard about the plane catastrophe where Polish president and other key figures in the country died. Fibak also claims he acknowledged Rafa about the genocide on thousands of Polish officers in the very same place, in the Stalin times.

Nadal strikes me as one of the few players who has a clue of what's going on around the world. I'm not a fan or anything but I can appreciate that.

Poland lost a good part of its government...and the irony of where the party was heading.

Rafa has a good heart.
