Do you know your Slam winners?

Everyone here is going on and on about one slam wonders and whether players with one slam will be one-slam wonders or players who made one slam final or no slams will retire slamless and forgotten. So see how smart you are if you think you can remember recent slam winners or runners up from 1990 to the present.

First one got the mens one but somehow forgot Myskina and Capriati on the womens side. Forgetting Myskina is forgiveable, but I don't know how I could have forgotten about Capriati.

Therefore I won on all three.

Wow!

I didn't do the WTA ones because I really don't know many of them. Of the men's section (quiz 1), I didn't get Bruguera because I didn't know how to spell it! Plus I couldn't think of Stich (I was only 6 when he won after all). I got all of quiz two (in the men's) but it took me a few guesses to spell Verkerk correctly. I didn't try the last one.

142 out of 160.. wish I would have followed women's tennis more in the mid 90s

I had the (age) advantage of seeing almost all of these matches on television when they occurred.

Same here :-)
Actually managed to get all the ATPs, but missed some of the women.

Got all the men but not the women. My spelling sucks which is no surprise.

Good stuff, thanks for posting..

I don't give a shit about the WTA, so that side was basically a joke to me. Should of made it like Runner-Ups/Winners from 1980-2010 for just ATP, since this is a MENS tennis forum.

126/160 on the first. I really suck at remembering names. I couldn't even remember Edberg, but I was picturing him in my mind and I knew he was from Sweden! Just couldn't remember the name.

159/160

Apparently someone called "Iva Majoli" won RG 1997.

Took less than 2 minutes to finish the men's winners.

Leo

Finished first with 5:13 to spare.

Finished second with 6:45 to spare.

Third one I missed 4 names only - Korda and Berasategui (ATP) and Fernandez and Sukova (WTA).

DO I WIN? :D I love tennis stats and trivia. I really own the 2000s. 90s...I'm just okay, but I have a good feel for the Slam winners.
