He would rather go early to MC. tennishero 04-09-2010, 07:15 PM gasquet is done, im not sure wether he has underachieved in his career or was overrated from the start though. either way, he will never be a top 10 player again. Puschkin 04-09-2010, 07:17 PM Gasquet is fine, I think. He would rather go early to MC. He knows that I will be awaiting him there. :p TMJordan 04-09-2010, 07:18 PM guess he forgot to take some lines in the locker room before the match. :( tennisfaNo1 04-09-2010, 07:20 PM nice match...some huge shots from both sides...hanescu has a real chance to win his 2nd career title here... if this was nice match than I am RF. richie standing 10 m behind baseline, with no angle at all, no running. such a lazy ****. Hellraiser 04-09-2010, 07:23 PM I really believe that Hanescu is able at the beginning of the season to make a good clash with players TOP15 on clay, and make no more so many upsets. oranges 04-09-2010, 07:26 PM Woeful TB and poor return from Richie. He was not without chances to dig up a win here, but I just knew those 5 missed BPs at the beginning of the decider will come back to bite him later Cloudygirl 04-09-2010, 07:28 PM It's been a while since I've seen Richard play a match where his forehand was better than his backhand duong 04-09-2010, 07:28 PM Woeful TB and poor return from Richie. He was not without chances to dig up a win here, but I just knew those 5 missed BPs at the beginning of the decider will come back to bite him later I thought the same but it was not that surprising as he didn't look confident in his tennis, that he couldn't be confident for bps. He mostly relied on Hanescu's errors, which actually gave him second set. *Jean* 04-09-2010, 07:29 PM Richard  oranges 04-09-2010, 07:40 PM I thought the same but it was not that surprising as he didn't look confident in his tennis, that he couldn't be confident for bps. He mostly relied on Hanescu's errors, which actually gave him second set. I don't think he was particularly passive on BPs, though he was too passive all too often throughout the match for my taste. He went for some of them, but BH letting him down then can't be good for his mindset duong 04-09-2010, 07:52 PM I don't think he was particularly passive on BPs, though he was too passive all too often throughout the match for my taste. He went for some of them, but BH letting him down then can't be good for his mindset yes precisely : when you're not confident in your game generally speaking, you cannot be confident on bps if you have to make the decision Certinfy 04-09-2010, 07:53 PM Well done Hanescu :yeah: Team_Roddick 04-09-2010, 08:16 PM there we go again Richard. Nathaliia 04-09-2010, 08:19 PM We asked for a serious opposition for Richie yesterday and here it came. His today's true level. The level of Hanescu. Poor boy. Did not play well at all. duong 04-09-2010, 08:38 PM His today's true level. The level of Hanescu. not even Hanescu's level  .-Federers_Mate-. 04-09-2010, 10:57 PM Dissapointing from Gasquet didn't go for his shots. Still thinking hes going to ake the top 30 by wimbledon duong 04-09-2010, 11:06 PM Dissapointing from Gasquet didn't go for his shots. Still thinking hes going to ake the top 30 by wimbledon his new coach wants him to practice grinding : I doubt he'll be good for Wimbledon  leng jai 04-09-2010, 11:48 PM Please alert the folks at Oxford Dictionary, "unstoppable" has now been redefined to mean "can only be stopped by Victor Hanescu". Puschkin 04-10-2010, 03:50 AM I don't think he was particularly passive on BPs, though he was too passive all too often throughout the match for my taste. I agree. Add the poor returning on 2nd serves and that's it. It may sound wird, because there were plenty of DFs, but I liked his serving. his new coach wants him to practice grinding : I doubt he'll be good for Wimbledon   Where do you get that from? I have never heard Markus saying this. Kolya 04-10-2010, 04:03 AM Hanescu :yeah: Nidhogg 04-10-2010, 07:32 AM I watched the beginning of the third set. Gasquet will need to start sharpening up and win these kind of matches soon if he wants to get back up from where he's at right now. Nice win, Lurch. :yeah: B.z.A. 04-10-2010, 09:52 AM I was watching 1st set, and half of the second. It was like gasquet was not there mentally :/ Aaric 04-10-2010, 10:47 AM Damn :bigcry: Forehander 04-10-2010, 11:21 AM Gasquet's forehand is by far one of the worst in men's game. Dini 04-10-2010, 02:27 PM Please alert the folks at Oxford Dictionary, "unstoppable" has now been redefined to mean "can only be stopped by Victor Hanescu". Funny, sad and true at the same time. Current form is somewhere near challenger level, if that. I mean it was good to see him show the full arsenal against his first two opponents but when the test came he failed to deliver, unsurprisingly. Almost never in doubt. I say almost because the first two matches gave me a little hope. :( Just hope he keeps practising and not get too put down by these losses; eventually it'll come with a little luck as well. duong 04-10-2010, 06:15 PM  Where do you get that from? I have never heard Markus saying this. me neither : I just stress that he has played a lot on clay since they were together, and that he was not aggressive at all yesterday, mostly running and grinding. I don't think it's a ggod sign for Wimbledon, where the surface is mostly adapted to his abilities imo. | |
