Hilarious choke by the other Bogo  maybe it comes with the name?

But anyways, just fantastic for Conor :worship: :bigclap:
I think this will be his ATP level debut.

great fightback. might have saved match points I'm not sure. I saw deuce when Boggo was serving at 5-3.

If he gets Young and beats him, he'll get killed by Gonzalez

If you offered him that now he'd bite your hand off.

3 hours and 10 minutes on an unfamiliar surface today. He's going to be sore as hell for days. He's no spring chicken...

poor draw. neither a glamour tie nor a winnable one. fish seems to like houston

conor played 3 matches on clay in row, but fish's last matches were on hard, so in 1st set there is a chance i think

I believe you are thinking of Louk Sorensen.

Wikipedia says he's played a handful of ATP tourneys.

Congrats in any case, though.

shows how reliable wikipedia is. they are referring to his qualifying matches. He's been in around 6 or 7 tour level qualifying draws, his best show being the final round in Doha and Australian Open this year. But this is definitely his first main draw

Sorensen and Niland should both be given British passports in time for the Davis Cup against Turkey.

ha, sure they only just beat turkey last month in the davis cup. if we can beat them then so can you :)

That would be a big downgrade for them.

Back by popular demand (one person). Paul Capdeville tomorrow in second round Houston qualies.

haha. Sounds like Conor isn't getting too much love on twitter.

Good time to start following him. He might keep using it if he gets a few:

More winnable but still tough.

Good on him for getting this far :) Hopefully we'll have an Irishman in the main draw at Wimbledon would love someone to shout for!

Seems Somdev was way too solid. Niland said he wasn't feeling 100% which isn't surprising after the marathon qualie match. A roadrunner like Devvarman is a nightmare match up in those circumstances

Ireland should invest more in tennis.

An Irish lad winning Wimby before a Brit (in the open era) would be freaking epic.
