Devin was in better shape than Tomic. Then, He won the NCAA men's singles title. After that, He went pro. Now, I have not heard about wildcard for him. He doesn't use his twitter as much. What happened??

I have no idea as well, was surprisingly good when I saw him vs Federer at the USO last year.

Well, first of all, despite beating Tomic at the USO he has never been anywhere near the prospect.
And he has been playing like crap, can't even pick up any wins in futures currently. With that said I think he will get on the right track soon enough.

hopefully , he can get over some "issues" and realize he needs to crack into the top 500. He should have stayed in college.

Probably, but that's in the past now ;)

He could never go back. Some players need to "un- pro" themselves.

Devin was in better shape than Tomic.

How can you say that he was in better form than Tomic ? :haha:

He has just accumulated defeats in the futures circuit :haha:

Tomic won two challengers and two slam first rounds

In his US generation, Domijan, Buchanan, even Rhyne Williams have been ranked in the top-800. Britton has never entered the top-1000, which is really not much at his age (he's more than one year older than Tomic)

Weird, because against Roger, it totally looked like he had a 'grown up' game.

he was better than tomic in juniors.

if you mean that he beat Tomic once in junior US Open 2008, well :

1. it happens

2. he was one year and a half older than Tomic, which surely counts at that age

When Tomic won junior Aus open he was 15 years and 3 months old, when Britton was finalist of junior US OPen he was 17 years and 6 months old, that's surely different
