Should the winner of Roddick-Berdych consider retirement?

There will already be 20 threads after the championship match in Miami calling for the loser to retire (in what has become the most over-dramatic forum on the web), so we don't even have to discuss that.

However, what about the winner? The winner of Saturday's match will likely not win any tournaments on the clay court swing, and might find it difficult to return to this week's form for the remainder of the year. As a matter of fact, seeing as how they are both getting older, this week may be as good as it gets for the rest of the winner's career.

The best solution of all might be if both Roddick and Berdych agree to not play the final, split the championship, and both announce in a joint press conference that they are retiring at the same time. You can't beat going out on top, right? Half of MTF might reach orgasm as a result of this.

Please discuss further...
