These 3 reached the semifinals of both Indian Wells and Miami this year. :worship:

Is the Big 4 or whatever finally broken?

Yes, Nadal, Roddick, and Soderling are the new "Big 3". Are you really prepared to make that claim?

There was never a Big 4, because at that time Djokovic was crap, and now him and Murray are.

If we measure domination on the basis of ATP points won then Ljubicic has been the most dominant player in IW and Miami.

yeh very true, disappointing that the other top players have either not played or just appeared out of it when they play a match, so good to see there are 3 guys (Rafa, Roddick, Sod) who have managed to stick around long enough in both IW/Miami.

federer does not give a toss really in best of 3 set tourneys or just cant close out matches when he has a MP by playing overly aggressive. (baghdatis/berdych losses) :o

also take out murray who has NOT done well at all since losing the aus open final. dont actually give a toss about him.

and then also eliminate djokovic who is probably fatigued from all the tennis he played in late Feb/early March (4 set/5 set wins over querrey/isner in davis cup), and defended the dubai title the week before davis cup. djokovic better get his act together for the upcoming pre-FO clay season (he has to defend RU at MC, RU at Rome, W at Belgrade and SF at Madrid). i do not like the way djokovic plays these days, what is with his serve- it is just WTH???

nadal is now somewhat playing his way back into form, djokovic's days at #2 are numbered. if nadal wins miami, he will only be 10 points behind djokovic. VAMOS RAFA, win Miami please :)

soderling has been playing some good tennis, so im happy to see him get to 2 MS SF's back to back. nadal/soderling final in Miami would be good :)

roddick has taken good advantage of 2 nice draws opening up for him in IW and Miami (drawn into Fed's quarter at IW and Nole's quarter at Miami), he has gained points from last year. :D

If Nadal is only 10 points behind Djokovic after winning this week then that would mean he's well positioned to reclaim number one if Federer slips up at Roland Garros or Wimbledon. And you'd expect Nadal to defend his clay points before RG too.

Nadal is part of the big 4

Well, yeah, I kind of agree. Nadal defends a lot previous to RG but I think he'll do fine like he always does. Then there is a real shot for Nadal of retaking number one after RG and even more so after Wimbledon.

Nadal is part of the big 4

I know that. but the big 4 as a whole is broken.

Federer dominated AO this year. Whoever whatever dominated later means about nothing.

Federer choked against Berdych. Don't be bitter.

the Era of Murray/Djoko/Fed/Nad is heavily threatend by Toad/JMDP and hopefully Rod can make it big this year in Wimbly, his final shot at the titel imo.

These masters don't really matter, they'll still flop when it comes to the GS's, Federer/Nadal/Murray always going to be the men to beat at GS's

Murray the man to beat at GS? :spit: How many GS titles has he won?

Davydenko and Djokovic dominated Shanghai and Bercy

Djokovic and Youzhny dominated Rotterdam and Dubai

Ferrer and Ferrero dominated south-American clay season :haha:

More concrete Roddick will take first place in the Race if he wins the tournament

I hate to pick apart this solid reasoning, but Rafa won the AO last year. And as we all know it was the Year of Rafa

Murray & Federer are so beautiful. No doubt, their Slam efforts are high quality. No one else now is smarter than them.

Yes, that's it.
