Sure it was windy, but it's just no excuse for this kind of mug fest.
Toad should be on the front cover of "Winning ugly". :help:

You mean 6-1 6-2, not the other way around.
Very ugly second set from both players, Sod played good in the first imo.

Thanks for the cash, SoderKing! :hatoff: :worship:
Terrible match, nothing Pech-ner could do. :p

Petzschner - guy is even called Picasso. Disgrace.

Job done, and playing it safe was the way to go in those conditions. Seven winners. :rocker2:

Note to some guy who's initials are R.F.: that's the way to do it, even if the circumstances are windy. ;)

Disagree. He was 3-9 in W/UE count. It was more a case of Phillip being completely useless. However, a win is a win, right?

Sod kept calm and saved 3/3 BP.s and converted 4/5. Struggled in the serve in the 2nd set and kept down the errors compared to Petzschner. Terrible conditions.

Robin is so consistent these days, I think he will stay in the top 10 for a long time.

I saw Petzschner 4 times in my life and 4 times he played like a futures player, why the hell is he in Top100 ?

Petzschner's slice is quite overrated, it certanly is not the best in the top 100.

Easy win for Robin, the biggest question is how could Tipsarevic lose to this guy?

petzschner was a bit unlucky in the second not to break back
some good opportunities there

Nice forehand and serve and when he's in his comfort zone a great slice backhand. :)
Obviously he played like crap here, but some players can kinda hit through him.

I guess it's a safe thing to say that Petzschner's tennis is nicer than Picasso's art.

The only resemblance between Petzschner and Picasso are their initials P.P. :o Saying "Picasso" about Petzschner is like saying for instance "Modligliani" about Murray :D
