it seems that the American Davis Cup team enjoyed their stay in Serbia ... or that the Serbians enjoyed it enough to get them a lot of money

PS : I read Isner's answer in another thread, it seems that it's rather the first answer

Wcs?

Still none published, I think . . . Anyone knows something about WC's?

I'm pretty sure that Filip Krajinovic will receive one but don't have idea for others . . .

Who did they give WCs to?

Krajinovic will get one for sure. Then for the others it´s open. My hopes are for Dusan Lajovic and if he plans to play the tournament Ilija Bozoljac. Those 3 deserves an wildcard. But i wouldnt be surprised if Marko Djokovic will get one..

I also think Filip will get it, others maybe for qualies.

Another name is added to the list of famous players who have announced their arrival in Belgrade. Jamie Murray, brother of Andy Murray, will play doubles. The Scottish tennis player won the mixed doubles final of Wimbledon in 2007 with Jelena Jankovic.

"We gave wild cards for qualifications to some of our tennis hopes, and for the main draw we haven’t decided yet. We have five or six requests from foreign players, we will decide next week," said Goran Djokovic.

Two WCs will be given to Serbian players, I think and one for foreign players. . . So Krajinovic will take one for sure, Zlatanovic got the other one last year, but I don't think they'll give him another one. . . Lajovic should get Qualies WC, and maybe Bozoljac shall get MD WC :D Pashanski for Qualies WC too(if his rank is too bad for it)

:cuckoo:
This is a 250 tournament in the week between two Masters what are you expecting all top10 entering here? Tournaments like this one and Estoril are mainly for players who haven't gone far in Rome to have somewhere to gain match practice before Madrid. The field is OK for a 250 and for that specific week.

Tommy Robredo, Filip Krajinovic and Marko Djokovic have received wild cards. What an joke that Marko got one, he cant even qualify for an future tournament  Dusan Lajovic should have been given one for sure, today he beat Bernard Tomic in straight sets. Well well, maybe Marko can get one game..

No , it's not that fact. . .The fact is that tournament directors and organisers are family Djokovic so they gave their little son WC. It's totally undeserved! Lajovic and Zlatanovic are much better than him and are very young too!

That's exactly what nepotism is: favoritism granted to relatives or friends, without regard to their merit.

Peter Polansky replaces him.
