WTF Gaudio, just WTF :tape: :o Luckily for him the clay season is next up  Surely he can post some better results  If not I think he'll re-retire permanently by Wimbledon :tape:

Santi is better than Gaudio in HC nowadays, so it's not a surprise that he defeated the Argie

gaudio has been finished since 2006, i dont know why hes still playing, he'll never compete with the top players again.

The only question is whether or not he's enjoying himself. It doesn't have to always be about competing with the top players. If he's having a good time, traveling and making money/friends, what's the problem?

Hear hear. People need to tone down their expectations for him in this stage of his career. He was a huge underdog in this match, and duly lost. There's not much more to it.

I hope to see him in the MD of some tournaments now when the clay season starts, be it by going through qualies or getting WC's, and display some good and enjoyable tennis.

But what's the joy in losing 61 62? Last week lost the same to Reynolds. Those are really big numbers and it's not that on clay he will win these matches...

I hope he has another revival, but I fear he will not.

Well, it's not like he is making millions right now :tape: At this level he is earning some average salary...

I hope he gets some nice results on clay, if not...I would retire on his place. Roland Garros winner grinding it out in some forgotten challengers? No, thanks.
