Which Tall Youngster Has Most Potential ? Under 20

I am wondering who you guys feel has the most potential out of the taller youngsters in the game under the age of 20 and how far they can go with the exception of Bernard Tomic.

I would consider Jerzy Janowicz to be the most tallented, he has a very good first serve and a huge forehand, his mobility and defensive skills can certainly be improved upon along with his backhand although it is a fairly solid double hander, but it is clearly his weaker wing, his slice is also faily poor but he has good volleys. Top 50 in the future in my opinion although lots of improvements to be made.

Jerzy Janowicz - Age: 19 Height: 6 ft 7 1/2 in
Current Ranking: 302

Milos Raonic - Age: 19 Height: 6 ft 5 in
Current Ranking: 425

Vasek Pospisil - Age: 19 Height: 6 ft 4 in
Current Ranking: 320

Devin Britton - Age: 18 Height; 6 ft 4 in
Current Ranking: 1278

Alexander Domijan - Age: 18 Height: 6 ft 7 in
Current Ranking: 656

I think Britton will be top 20 player, maybe Janowicz as well.
Other top 100 at best.

Considering Devin can't win futures qualifying matches currently I would hold back on making such lofty predictions :p

damn all these younger players seem to be getting taller and taller.
In tennis it seems that 5'10 to 6'2 was an average height in the past. Looks like the new average is going to be more like 6'2 to 6'6.

I saw Raonic play Gonzo in Montreal and was very impressed. He’s got big weapons and an exciting style of play.

I hope he breaks thru.

All of them, seeing as tennis is fast becoming a sport for giants.

Milos and Vasek

Of course, Milos showed some great potential with his run in Montreal, but he hasn't really followed it up since the summer. Vasek, on the other hand, really looks at a turning point; he's above futures level, but hasn't done anything at challengers yet. Regardless, I'm quite excited about the potential of these guys; if one of them doesn't make it to be a regular ATP player, I'd be a little disappointed.

Britton has won only one match on futures circuit, I believe. For a player of his age (born 1991), that's very little.

He hasn't played many either to be honest ;)

I don't know why but it's like that

Among the Americans from that generation, Domijan is the most regular on the adults circuit.

As for the question, I'm not really able to answer, as I've not seen them playing : according to the results, I would rather say Janowicz.

Raonic and Pospisil met recently : it was a very tight match, and Raonic is a bit younger, I can't say

Seems like its time that Rafa puts his XY chromosome in the right place, before Fed is putting out next time twin boys... :bolt:

Ryan Harrison
He is the best to me. Would sooner be Top 100

he's still 17 years old

and he is way better than Devin Britton (sorry for his fans)

Janowicz isn't improving. It's never nice when you don't have money, you can't focus on your practise and must think about your tomorrow instead. A case for all Polish players for the record. He's at the stage where he needs to bring something more to his game, get the stability and not being afraid of attacking. Not sure if he is coached well.
