Male Gulbis fan right here

As for the match, not really sure. Either result wouldn't surprise me but I'm rootin for Gulbis.

then again he is pretty wealthy.

As opposed to top players, who obviously are not, not to mention the high relevance of the financial status for being a fan. I swear, I get a rash as an allergic reaction to every mention of it and there can hardly be a thread involving him that doesn't have at least one. Please, make one in the match thread again, no matter the result, I'm sure it will be relevant one way or another.

Davydenko isn't a nice match-up for Gulbis...unless the wrist is bothering him, he should avoid the upset.

If Kolya wrist is OK it will be a quick match. If not it will be slightly longer.

Noises out of the Davy camp pretty consistent: no expectations here, no risks. Indian Wells was never his tournament anyway, but Miami definitely is. He has a real shot at the top 4 before Roland Garros - he's defending almost no points till then, and Del Potro seems perpetually injured.

I hope Gulbis

but tough for him
