So, Federer finally listened to MTF and decided to change to a two-handed backhand...

Just look at this delicate and fluid technique:

With this shot added to Federer's arsenal, Rafael Nadal's deep topspin balls to Fed's backhand will no longer be a concern. This bloke's new backhand will take care of business and Rafa -along with the rest of the tour- will certainly be helpless against it.

PRAY FOR DEATH!!

There are a few pics of Fed trying out the 2 hander.

Double-handed backhand suits grinders and moonballers.

I do admit I am one of them. I tried single handed backhand and could not learn it properly.

Yeah, it does seem like he is taking it 110% seriously in that pic.

Federer doesn't need the two-hander to beat Nadal anymore. Chances are they won't face each other on a hardcourt again for some time, and I'd give Roger the slight edge on grass, but nothing will help him against in-form Nadal at Roland Garros.

actually, it's much more likely, given that now they can meet in semis or quarters even, depending on how far Nadal drops. Nadal may consistently lose to top10 on hardcourts, but it's not like he is going to be losing R2 to random mugs.
