SAP Open R1: Verdasco def. Lu 6-3 6-7(6) 6-3Arkulari 02-11-2010, 05:44 AM Nando didn't play well :o http://i47.tinypic.com/23kc2mt.jpg FlameOn 02-11-2010, 05:47 AM Served great though. :hearts: 14 aces in a three set match is huge for Nando. :D Keep it going. :rocker2: Arkulari 02-11-2010, 05:51 AM yeah and he didn't DF as much :D FlameOn 02-11-2010, 06:02 AM yeah and he didn't DF as much :D Yeah, like not 20 times. :tape: :haha: osalsyst 02-11-2010, 02:37 PM I actually thought this was quite a good match for awhile. Lu played great in the tb and looked to carry the momentum into the third. Verdasco saved 15-40 in the first game of the third with big serves and the rest is history. But it seemed like there was a 5 game period where every point ended on a winner. Dini 02-11-2010, 02:38 PM Did Sampras really say Verdasco could win a major? Really? ApproachShot 02-11-2010, 03:08 PM Didn't get a change to see the match but I'm pleasantly surprised that Rendy was able to take it to 3 sets. Does anyone know Nando's winners/UEs? Yes he did  : http://www.google.com/hostednews/canadianpress/article/ALeqM5gxK5H9lAjmHuuEKM0ivAXFbPBtUg Dini 02-11-2010, 07:22 PM If he's talking about a mathematical possibility then it's true, he "could" win a major. Realistically, it's a freaking joke. Pete was just being nice me thinks. :p FlameOn 02-11-2010, 07:42 PM If he's talking about a mathematical possibility then it's true, he "could" win a major. Being nice is saying, "Verdasco's a great player" or something like that, not what Pete said. | |
