I actually thought this was quite a good match for awhile. Lu played great in the tb and looked to carry the momentum into the third. Verdasco saved 15-40 in the first game of the third with big serves and the rest is history. But it seemed like there was a 5 game period where every point ended on a winner.

Didn't get a change to see the match but I'm pleasantly surprised that Rendy was able to take it to 3 sets.

I'm not saying I believe that he will win a major, but Pete made quite a bold statement. Being nice is saying, "Verdasco's a great player" or something like that, not what Pete said. :shrug:
