Marcos looked impressive out there. A whole deal of nice shots.

Don't forget Blake had a knee-injury, that's why he wasn't very active on court.

Yeah. I only saw the second set, and Blake didn't put in much of an effort.

Really disappointed by James performance. Outplayed by Marcos and very crappy play. A lot of unforced errors, shaky service and attacks through the middle. Of course Baghdatis played a very solid game today but Blake was unable to take advantage of 48 % 1st percentage of Marcos. It was very surprising taking into account his recent match vs. Del Potro.

Exactly, I was hoping for Davydenko vs. Blake tomorrow.

Nicely done, Baggy.

Despite the injury Marcos still had to win the match.

Did Blake ever mention in his autobiography about not quitting on court? The guy has never retired from a match in his career. :speakles:

Same problem Blake has with Hewitt. The real quesiton today was if Baggy's shoulder was healed up fine - apparently he was pretty close to not playing Rotterdam.

Yeah that's impressive. Federer shares that record. Difference is, Blake has 0 walkovers handed, Fed has one. I think that was against Blake coincidentally :)

Zero motivation for Blake. Really it's a shame to see that talented and nice playing guy loosing with almost everyone around in one and half year, and sometimes making a nice lose with f.e. Murray, Nadal or DP when he could win it nicelly.

Great work Baggy, didn't expect him to win that easily even if Blake had a niggling injury.

Should be a great match with Davydenko, just hope is wrist and shoulder hold up.

Little more than an extended practice session for Marcos. He played well, although he was also allowed to look extra good with how James looked.

Very disappointed! But his tendinitis has been bothering him - that is the only reason he lost to DelPo at the Australian Open. Blake played with tendinitis 3 days in a row, and DelPo was lucky anyway. A disappointing loss, and I really hope he does better next week!
