Bilbo 09-05-2004, 11:47 PM I hate Beck  Corey Feldman 09-05-2004, 11:53 PM well done beck , finally 1 of my v-bets wins again :yeah: Corey Feldman 09-05-2004, 11:57 PM Thanks sol , maybe i will catch up to you soon rich girl ;) Deboogle!. 09-06-2004, 01:16 AM Hewitt's won the first three games in 5 minutes, Lopez hasn't won a point and seems to not even really be able to walk b/c of his ankle. why doesn't he save us all some time and just call it a night because this is excruciating. Neely 09-06-2004, 01:50 AM Hewitt's won the first three games in 5 minutes, Lopez hasn't won a point and seems to not even really be able to walk b/c of his ankle. why doesn't he save us all some time and just call it a night because this is excruciating. well, Lopez doesn't even seem to move so badly, he is just being totally dominated by Hewitt Hewitt is doing with him what he wants he just PUMPED HIS FIST, he's on fire like hell Neely 09-06-2004, 01:51 AM overpowering for Lopez does not work against Hewitt Bilbo 09-06-2004, 01:54 AM overpowering for Lopez does not work against Hewitt exactly Deboogle!. 09-06-2004, 01:54 AM Lopez was barely moving in the first set. he's at least making it semi-entertaining now. Johnny mac had some pretty harsh words for Feli in the first set, he was pretty disappointed by his efforts. At least he's showing up a little now. Hewitt's playing fine but he had help. Neely 09-06-2004, 01:56 AM If Hewitt is able to consolidate playing like this I don't give Haas much chances (unless he surprises me) Bilbo 09-06-2004, 01:57 AM If Hewitt is able to consolidate playing like this I don't give Haas much chances Haas will get ripped a new one If Lleyton plays like that I see him winning the US Open :) Neely 09-06-2004, 01:59 AM not often that Hewitt has two mishits in one game Lopez holds normally that's Federer's job LOL Corey Feldman 09-06-2004, 02:00 AM Haas will get ripped a new one a new shirt i hope :o Lopez :smash: beyond useless night Neely, all :wavey:  Neely 09-06-2004, 02:02 AM look what Hewitt does(did) with his serve in that game he's not serving it with high speed, but with placement, intelligence and spin Lopez can't match this, Lopez has just speed, but not clever enough to be dangerous Neely 09-06-2004, 02:02 AM night Neely, all :wavey:  night Escude ;) :wavey: Bilbo 09-06-2004, 02:04 AM Lopez can't match this, Lopez has just speed, but not clever enough to be dangerous Exactly Neely, he is the same as Johansson. Both play brainless tennis. No chance against a smart player like Lleyton. His return also is one of the best in the world. Deboogle!. 09-06-2004, 02:05 AM No, lopez won't win (did anyone ever think he would?) but at least he's making it a better match and showing a little emotion. The second set isn't closer b/c Hewitt's level has gone down, Feli's has gone up (Though there wasn't much place for it to go down lol). Neely 09-06-2004, 02:05 AM Haas will get ripped a new one hahahaha, das ist gut :haha: :haha: :haha: I think I know what you mean ;) :rolls: Neely 09-06-2004, 02:11 AM Hewitt starts right out hot again in the third set I expect Lopez to collapse now Neely 09-06-2004, 02:12 AM Lopez' backhand (slice) = :retard: :smash: :sobbing: Deboogle!. 09-06-2004, 02:14 AM Lopez in general tonight is :smash: it's really too bad he's hurt :( his stats are just horrific. And I like Lleyton but his "Come on" on an opponent's unforced error is REALLY tacky. Neely 09-06-2004, 02:14 AM "COME ON!!!!" and another FIST PUMP from Hewitt no athlete on the world has such an emotional fist pump look in his face, priceless  :worship: Auscon 09-06-2004, 02:15 AM Go Lleyton! And he breaks in the opening service game... Why did this have to be a bloody night match....I wanna watch it! Deboogle!. 09-06-2004, 02:15 AM OMG CHRIS KATTAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Deboogle!. 09-06-2004, 02:16 AM OMG CHRIS KATTAN IS HOLDING UP A RUBBER DUCK :bigcry: :bigcry: awwwwww keep talking to him it's WAY more entertaining than this horrific match Neely 09-06-2004, 02:17 AM OMG CHRIS KATTAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! who's that? Bilbo 09-06-2004, 02:17 AM Hewitt-Roddick. I can't wait to see Roddick go down in flames. Deboogle!. 09-06-2004, 02:18 AM Chris Kattan was on Saturday Night Live for several years. He's a HILARIOUS comedian/actor "I'm enjoying this match between Jennifer Lopez and Jennifer Love Hewitt" :sobbing::sobbing: Neely 09-06-2004, 02:19 AM Hewitt-Roddick. I can't wait to see Roddick go down in flames. Roddick has beaten him on grass quite easily, the score looked close, but I never had the impression that Lleyton would win this match, Roddick was too strong in Queen's Neely 09-06-2004, 02:20 AM Chris Kattan was on Saturday Night Live for several years. He's a HILARIOUS comedian/actor "I'm enjoying this match between Jennifer Lopez and Jennifer Love Hewitt" :sobbing::sobbing: :haha: :haha: tnx for explaining me... funny! :yeah: Bilbo 09-06-2004, 02:20 AM Roddick was too strong in Queen's But it was a different Hewitt. Lleyton is as strong as 2 years ago now. He wasn't in Queen's. Deboogle!. 09-06-2004, 02:21 AM Hewitt is playing well, but he doesn't look invincible. Neither does Andy, obviously, but he played a guy who gets stuff back and hustles almost as well as Lleyton today and Andy looked really solid at the baseline and pretty patient. Not saying I think he'll win. but considering Andy had Hewitt almost beat 3 years ago and their improvement trajectories are not exactly the same over the time that's passed, I would think it would not be Roddick going down in flames, even if he were to lose. Yes Bilbo but Andy is playing better here than he was at Queens also. And this is a better surface for him anyway. And the crowd. Auscon 09-06-2004, 02:24 AM 49 winners and 19 unforced errors....Roddick mustve been on fire against Canas At Queens Lleyton had opportunities in the first set, but blew them Give Lleyton best of 5 sets, and I think he can get Roddick provided he keeps his intensity up from the get go Neely 09-06-2004, 02:25 AM okay, Bilbo.... Hewitt definitely plays now stronger than a few months ago in Queen's, but Roddick was spanking winners from all situations, also against Canas who is one hell of a figher and who normally retrieves a lot, but Canas stood no chance against Roddick's power, you could say he got blown out of the building every set, no matter what he tried I don't see this match clearly in favor of Lleyton Deboogle!. 09-06-2004, 02:26 AM um. they both have two more matches to win. let's not get ahead of ourselves :) Especially considering neither of them have been REALLY tested so far, it's kinda hard to say how they will play when they get to another top player in the other just because they both look great playing players who aren't playing particularly well at all. See, Neely is a voice of reason. I think it's impossible to tell, there would be things about the match that would favor both the players (Andy would have the crowd, the conditions that he likes, the desire for revenge for 3 years ago, etc. Lleyton would have the confidence of their h2h, the fact that it's best-of-5, etc.). They are both extremely fit, they are both good fighters, and they are both playing well and they both know they have the ability to beat the other. Neely 09-06-2004, 02:28 AM jajaja, Deb... okay okay  but Hewitt vs Roddick sounds just too good that we could forget about speaking it ;) Deboogle!. 09-06-2004, 02:29 AM yea I mean... Lleyton would surely have a great chance to win, but so would Andy. I don't see either of them being blown off the court - if the match actually ever happens anyway - unless one of them plays much differently than they have played thusfar. Well Neely it seems the most likely to happen, and I don't think either of them will have tough 4th round matches but both could have very tough QF matches in Haas and PimPim. Anything can happen. Auscon 09-06-2004, 02:32 AM If Haas keeps up his form, and both he and Lleyton make it through to the quarters, that could be a danger match....their head to head is fairly close with 3/4 of Haas' wins from hardcourt....the positive is that he wasnt able to win any of those in straight sets, whereas out of 3 of Lleytons wins against Haas on hc, he won 2 in straights Deboogle!. 09-06-2004, 02:35 AM Lopez has 17 winners to 40 unforced errors  Neely 09-06-2004, 02:39 AM sure thing, crowd is cheering 99% for Lopez now, because the match is going too fast Auscon 09-06-2004, 02:43 AM Checked the stats and couldnt believe how well Lleyton is serving....67% of first serves in and 9 aces All over! 6-1 6-4 6-2 Neely 09-06-2004, 02:44 AM Lopez got completely smoked in this match damn, that wasn't even a competitive match, but it was a good way to finish this tennis night for me... holy shit I loved it :clap2: Auscon 09-06-2004, 02:49 AM Quick change to the atptour.com news headline, was 'Andy Roddick played almost perfect tennis to defeat...' now it's 'Lleyton Hewitt played nearly perfect tennis to defeat No. 30 seed Feliciano Lopez...Andy Roddick is also in the fourth round' Neely 09-06-2004, 02:51 AM only thing that's questionable about Lleyton is, whether playing two tournaments in two weeks before the US Open will some time catch up to him during this US Open, especially the 2nd week SaFed2005 09-06-2004, 02:59 AM Dont forget about Haas... Hewitt has to get through him first to get to Roddick... I like both Hewitt and Haas but I want Haas to win this one more if they both make the quarters and play each other. | |
