i wonder if Tiger the sex hound will be back in time for this

and will Mickelson the cheat still be using illegal wedges

ExcaliburII
02-05-2010, 03:44 PM
Mickelson wedges are completely legal.

Rumours say Tiger is back for Augusta 100% sure.

Corey Feldman
02-05-2010, 03:48 PM
latest rumour i hear is Tiger comes back for this matchplay thing in California he always wins

ExcaliburII
02-05-2010, 03:49 PM
I heard that too, but not confirmed, I wanted to say that at latest he will be back for Augusta.

Sex rehab :spit:

i will be looking forward to winning my 2nd major in golf fantasy at Augusta (won last years GB Open and was runner up to Minn at USPGA)

this is another area of golf that i own you, Pablito

ExcaliburII
02-05-2010, 03:55 PM
what is the other area you own me? :haha: Dont tell is real golf, because you know thats not true.

I was the moral winner of Augusta last year.

I will win the fantasy calendar slam this year.

02-07-2010, 02:22 AM
My parents have been trying for four years and finally got tickets to the practice round at the Masters. And of course, this year, no Tiger. But being the huge golf fans they are, its going to be great even so.

ExcaliburII
02-07-2010, 10:46 AM
Tiger is going to be there for sure:cool:

What an end of tournament for Dubai  Anyone shooting a low back 9 takes it.

Kolya
02-07-2010, 10:48 AM
Quiros holding a slim lead 1 shot lead with like 6 players within 2 shots...

ExcaliburII
02-07-2010, 10:49 AM
yes, I have a small outright bet pending on Edoardo

Quiros under pressure = not a good thing.

too much power in his shots, not good to play under pressure.

Kolya
02-07-2010, 11:07 AM
4 way tie.

Molinari needs a birdie... would be nice to be in the clubhouse and wait...

ExcaliburII
02-07-2010, 11:12 AM
-10 probably wont be enough.

I say -11 goes to playoff now

Imagine if Jaidee wins :haha:

Kolya
02-07-2010, 11:17 AM
Jaidee is not a bad player, steady and a good putter.

Wouldn't mind see the cigar smoking Jimenez win his 16th title.

ExcaliburII
02-07-2010, 11:18 AM
I think Jaidee will choke.

Anyway, -10 might be the score if the guys keep choking

ExcaliburII
02-07-2010, 11:20 AM
Molinari couldnt birdie 18th :( No chance for him now.

Westwood and his shit swing will end up winning this

Kolya
02-07-2010, 11:24 AM
Westwood and that dip he has at impact

Quiros drives the 17th... power!

Go Jimenez!

ExcaliburII

Golf world rankings are a bit strange sometimes.

As long as you're in the top 50 you qualify for everything.

Golf world rankings are a bit strange sometimes.

As long as you're in the top 50 you qualify for everything.

yes.

I find pathetic the way the points are calculated. For example Cabrera shouldnt play his beloved abierto del centro, because it gives only 2.5 points for the winner I think, and this goes into his average, so even if he wins it his ranking is decreasing :o

Kolya
02-09-2010, 06:46 AM
Isn't the rankings based on the last 2 years... points come off from like 2 years ago...?

ExcaliburII
02-09-2010, 10:39 AM
Points depreceita after 3 months. Click on someones name to see how it works. After one year you only have half the points you had when you won it :o

And you dont add up points, its an average :o (You have to have at least 40, if you have less you divide by 40 anyway)

ExcaliburII
02-11-2010, 11:00 AM
Avantha Masters this week at the European Tour, poor field, only 3 players inside the top 100 World Ranks.

Marcel Siem leading after first round. Good opportunity to get first win on the tour for the players.

Peable Beach at the PGATour this week  Same course that will be used for the UsOpen. 3 course being played though.

Huge field this week, but no argies

ExcaliburII

Dustin Johnson leading  Can he retain the title?

adee-gee

Kim is the only one of the above that has a chance.

I'd love so much for Tiger to win, but I think it might be too much, I hear he's not been playing so well in practice. The media are fucking me off, trying to get him angry with the drug accusations etc. Give the guy a break, he messed up and he knows it, no need to bring this shit into it.

Congratulations to Phil Mickelson on winning the 2010 Master's title and his fourth career major championship. :D This was long overdue. And thanks to Phil for letting us into his world again watching on television. Mickelson and his family have been through alot in the past year and I'm pleased they can enjoy Phil's great win together as a family. :)

Mickelson > Els or Singh now?

adee-gee
04-12-2010, 10:30 AM
I would say so, yes. He needs to win a British Open to be considered a true great IMO though.

Encouraging week for Tiger, the fact he can play so badly and hit so many shit shots and still be right in contention is a good sign. Although it worries me that he's continually getting close but not quite winning in the last few years - needs to cut out the silly bogeys, he's become really prone to them early in final rounds and then by the time he makes a charge (like he did again yesterday) it's too late.

Westwood was pretty classy in defeat :hatoff: he might not get a better chance though.

Lucky that Mickelson choked it. Never seen Tiger look so disinterested on a golf course, usually when things are going badly he still puts intense effort and focus into every shot. I don't think he's going to retire, but I think if he has a shit USPGA he'll declare himself unavailable for Ryder Cup and then take more time off from golf.

Congrats to Kaymer, a fantastic player in the majors, good for German golf.

Johnson, though he is not a player I like but I do enjoy watching him play. Great rhythm and immense power.

A tough situation for him, there were so many people where he hit his drive. It would have never crossed his or my mind that he was in a "hazard". But under the rule they were playing this week, it is a "hazard".

Imagine if holed that putt to win! F**k that would have been something!

Terrible luck for DJ. Really gutted for him. Sometimes I wish some common sense would come into play and they wouldn't stick to the rules like glue. Early in his round he looked like he was gonna have another final round shocker, he did unbelievably to come back and almost take the title.

Another great week for Rory. I hope all these close calls are a good learning experience rather than a sign of things to come, I remember how many times Sergio was close to winning a major and never took that final step.

Congrats to Kaymer, unbelievably solid player. Typically German  when he's in the zone he looks like he won't miss a putt.

Competition is closer now with quality players from all around the world and especially with Tiger being less dominant in the majors.

Former major winners such as Els, Goosen, Harrington, Singh and Mickelson have struggled in recent years bar Mickelson obviously.

MaxPower
04-09-2012, 12:14 PM
Had some hope Peter Hanson could secure Swedens first major but the putting wasn't that good and was some obvious distraction with all the hype around Mickelson. Still a decent round but neither him or Mickelson had a good a really good day. Meanwhile Oosthuizen buried that albatross and Bubba raised him game just to hang on.

Mickelson on the 4th hole was crazy. Why didn't he take a 1 stroke penalty and reset fromt he tee? Even if he got the ball out a few meters on the first try it's still harder to hit the green from there than from the tee. He could easily have escaped with a bogey if he played from the tee instead. Think his caddie should have made his case better because Mickelson got a little overconfident in his abilities there and the tripple bogey cost him dearly.

That's what makes golf exciting. Over 18 holes even most pro's can do a bad tee-shot to the woods/crowd or whatever. I can relate as an amateur having to recover from the woods :) wish I had Bubba Watsons options. Well-deserved winner in the end

Hanson is a very good player who was just uncomfortable with the situation.

His swing can get quick when under pressure which causes bad shots and puts pressure on his putting even more.
