Which country has the lowest ranked players

Which has a large amount of professionals but none that are really that good and a lot in the low ranks.

I say Italy, they have tons in the 200-500 range

I think it's Italy. Japan has only 39 pros, that's not a number big enough especially if to compare with 106 of Italy.

Italy wins hands down. No worthwhile players at all there. Franny Schiavone would probably beat the crap out of all those wimps.

They started slumping when events allowed players to use coloured garments, and Rafa's sleeveless outfits simply ruined their chances. Only Wimbledon would still accept somebody playing in medieval robes, but alas, its ruled by Church of England so it would never do.

Think there was also some issue with the umpire being capable of making the calls... I mean, if the Pope says something is out of bounds, it surely is, now isn´t it? Umpires and the public may (out of ignorance) see a ball as acceptable, but that only refers to the ball in its temporal or external appearance, while the 'real' ball (its trascendent 'essence' in Thomistic terms) may be clearly out in the light of both Tradition and the spirit of scripture...

In the end, it was felt that everybody was far better off if they sticked to badminton (though they call it goodminton).

those are highranked compared to the great nation of DUALMEDIA! all of our players are unranked! :D

I'm shocked to see Sweden has only 25 pros and apart from Soderling no one in the top 300. Oh how have the mighty fallen.

This is something I really can´t understand. Italy excels in most sports, yet sucks in one of the most readily available to anyone. There are about 3 Italians to every 2 Spaniards, so we should get about 2/3 as many sport victories as you have. In most sports, the difference is usually larger in your favour. I can´t really think of many sports where Italy is not a main contender (perhaps field hockey?). Yet in tennis history you are next to nobodies. I simply can´t figure it out!

(I'm referring to male tennis players, donnas are doing fine... wonder how the men feel about that!).

I know Canada does not have 30+ ranked men, BUT, they also kinda suck in mens tennis for a large counrty.

I'm not sure but I don't think so. In a chart like this, Italy has necessarily to be the first country to massively suck (just as in every other argument).

Obviously Asia needs some good European/US trainers

Nah. They don't have many guns but they still have a heap of top 100 players or around the fringe of the top 100. In contrast, Italy really struggles, and so does Australia (gonna bet that we don't have a top 100 player by the end of the year).
