It's going to be between Fed and Murray, naturally. The others have little chances, imo.

Anything might happen in the final. I think Murray winning a GS is long overdue and for some reason AO has seen a lot of new GS champions over the years. It's a tough call.

I don't see Tsonga or Cilic beating Federer and Murray. One of them might sneak in the final (I'm thinking about Cilic) but I doubt it.

Murray is the slight favourite if he doesn't brainfart.

For me chances are:

Federer - 50%
Murray - 40%
Tsonga - 6%
Cilic - 4%

Federer 50%
Murray 30%
Tsonga 15%
Cilic 5%

I slightly favor Murray over Fed. He is rock solid.

This is Murrays best chance at a slam, he's had an easy route to the final, losing to cilic again would be pathetic. Having said that, I think whoever reaches the final between Tsonga/Federer should win it.

Federer should win it this time. I don't think, in best of five, the three remaining players have the goods to get the job done against him.

This is now Murray's best ever chance. He's the freshest of the 4 and arguably playing the best tennis.

It's really weird but this could be his make or break chance for greatness. Win here and he could go on and have a great year and career winning multiple slams. Lose and he'll know one got away. He knows he's playing better than anyone whose left so a loss here is failure for me.

Final will obviously be Federer & Murray. Could go either way. If Federer goes a set & a half with no first serve and shanking balls off either wing every 2nd point (as he did today), then he's had it: Murray won't let him back in. If on the other hand Federer plays well from the outset and Murray is content with trying to rally him into mistakes, Murray is toast. If Federer plays well and Murray plays with a good balance between attack & defence, it could go either way, but should be bloody good.

rafa was not injured! he said he only started to feel a slight pain in the second set and still was able to play good tennis. he said so himself. at the end he retired to avoid some type of serious pain/injury considering that he was being outplayed by murray and had little chances of winning at that point.

Also, Murray didn't even beat Roddick! Have you been watching this AO at all?

Did you actually watch the Murray/Nadal match?

Nadal was playing at a high and very competitive level during the first two sets, his form only dipped once the third set got underway and Nadal stated in his interview that it was around the beginning of the third set that the knee started affecting him.

I'll believe it when I see it. I obviously think he can do it, but he may yet find a way to fuck it up.

Federer is the heavy favourite. If he wants to win this tournament -- if he hungers this title -- then nobody in the game can stop him. He's a proven major player. Many, many times over.

But I have a sneaking suspicion that Murray will take this title.
