Baggy couldn't finish the match because the all you can eat buffet at the hotel closes at 9.

He will probably prefer the McDonalds oposite the hotel.

If he was fit he wouldn't get injured all the time :retard:

Why not give up against Ferrer then?! :(

Baghdatis72
01-23-2010, 08:26 AM
This is a sign for him to stop eating McDonalds, souvlakia, souvla, kebab and start exercising more seriously to get fit. You can't stay up there with these habits.

Why not give up against Ferrer then?! :(

Cause he wasn't injured against Ferrer.

He must start the pineapple diet if he wants to get fit. Eat everything except pineapple.

He said it was the tendon of the bicep that's the problem and he will do an MRI scan tomorrow. Hope it's not serious again.

I expected a 5-setter, too bad for injured Baghdatis (again).

Anyways, nice for Hewitt to take revenge :yeah:

He must have been...

Biceps injury says the Dutch Eurosport commentator.

Baghdatis72
01-23-2010, 08:40 AM
He must have been...

He had a cramp against Ferrer and "brain injury" after the second set where he destroyed the rackets. Then he spent yesterday playing cricket with some children and today he felt pain in the shoulder when he was warming up.

Who knows? He might have been tired and realized Hewitt would humiliate him so he retired. That would be lame but I don't think it's the case. Usually he keeps going. We'll find out after the MRI scan comes out.

A very anti-climatic end to the massive build-up for this match. Lleyton didn't even play that wel, Marcos was just awful. I hope he recovers, because he has been getting back into form recently. :)

Well done anyway to Lleyton.

I think its hilarious to see all the guys insulting Baggy and patting Hewitt on the back. Baghdatis still fucked him up 2 weeks ago at Sydney on Hewitts home court, so suck that. He's also won 2 titles more recently than Hewitt has won one, coming off injuries on top of it. His shoulder was clearly bothering him the whole match, so he was playing about 10%. To say he was blown off the court is hilarious. Can't be blown off the court if your hurt. Clowns.

Why some players can't survive a month without getting an injury? Similar to Haas who has had all kinds of problems...

LOL, calm down. You could see Hewitt was far from concerned about his loss in Sydney, he didn't want to get into a dogfight and waste energy before the open. Now look who come out fittest for the tournament that counts.

So pretty much all the compliments for Baghdatis went out the window when the guy gets injured. Blame his fitness, yeah, but really it can happen to anyone.

Typical MTF behavior.

Feel bad for Baggy. If he was really feeling the injury, definitely the right move to retire. Some guys are just more injury-prone than others. Hopefully he heals quick and makes it back soon.

I feel the same about it. He seems to be have quite sensitive bones and joints. Perhaps an expert could help his situation.

what diet? he looks quite fit for his standards. he played an exhausting match with Ferrer and then was seem watching subsequent matches on venue, he probably went later onto a drinking spree to celebrate having such überhuge balls (as we were made to know right on court on winning the match). he's an idiot, period.

Do you have a similar explanation for countless injuries Haas has suffered year after year? Need more examples? Has he been lifting too many hamburgers, hence the shoulder/biceps problem? :o

I wouldn't be pissed off at someone because he got injured and I lost a bet because whenever I place a bet I make sure to understand the risks involved and accept what could happen.
