Awesome. Maybe you can even enjoy a Melzer/Petzschner doubles. I hope Dustin can make an direct entry somewhere that week. :yeah:

No Haase and de Bakker :( would have been a good tournament before Rotterdam

very upset with the turn-out. what can we do? it's the week after a grand slam on the other side of the world

no Ancic? I thought he was close to a comeback...

in this calendar spot the list couldn't have been much better

what is so bad about thie field?
It was obvious that this tournament would not attract the biggest players,
because it comes right after the ao,
but it is still a pretty good field, with some very good players

If Dustin makes the cut he will have his fans in Zagreb, don't worry.... :worship:

And I will say hi in your name to Juergen and Picasso :wavey:

Not a good field altogether, but it's full of decent indoor players.

And probably no Cilic as he'll play final in Australia and won't be back in time or too hangover..:D

I agree with u. But they have Cilic and Troicki who can be ranked on the top ten soon. Besides of players like Stakhovsky, Lacko and Ljubo. I would pay a ticket to see them :)

http://www.zagrebindoors.com/indoors.htmIt is still early for sending out wild cards, but Ivan Dodig and Antonio Vuić, who were a sensation at the last tournament, are definitely the most probable candidates. There is also Roko Karanušić, whose ranking is poorer than last year. A foreigner will receive an invitation only if he is a great name – concluded Director Horvat.

Dodig and Veic deserve it, based on their AO performance. Karanusic? Not so much.

I have a feeling Cilic won't play here anymore. His body must be drained after playing the most time on court out of anyone in the Australian Open so far with at least one more match to come

Why no Ancic here - got to the final last year?

Why no Ancic here - got to the final last year?

He wants to come back by playing a lot of matches on the Challenger tour. Hopefully to win more matches to get the right rhythm.

yeah, i really doubt marin will play. even if they push his first match to wednesday it might just be too much tennis

And Karlo won his doubles match today and is in the QF there. Hope he loses tomorrow so he can be here on time. He is on fire and a candidate for the title here.

Is Ljubicic out with injury? I know he retired in AO doubles mid-match with foot? injury.

cilic said he would play zagreb even if he won the AUS OPEN, Ivan is suppose to rest 3 to 4 weeks but will try to play Zagreb. Karlovic im assuming will give it a go but who knows...

ivan should really stay healthy. the reality is that zagreb is only a 250. it's more important to be ready for IW/Miami at this stage in his career.
btw, karlovic/vemic are committed to doubles

Ad Wim

Karlovic shouldn't be too tired. He played his last doubles match yesterday and his last singles match early this week. Don't think that's a problem.
