Djokovic is having a good 2nd half

36-6 since that horrible loss to Kohlschrieber in the French Open with 2 titles(Beijing, Basel). That's the best mark after Federer(25-4). Give Nole a break!

Djokovic has won a barrel-load of matches this whole year, but isn't really doing that well at the bigger events. At the slams he went QF/R3/QF/SF, and he's not won a masters since Rome08 (0/5 in finals during that time).

Since Djoko's pre-Australian Open title defence hick-ups, he has been remarkably solid. It's funny, as 3 and 4 are always on opposite sides of the draw in big events, he's only played Murray once the whole year (l. final of Miami). He went 3-2 vs. Federer but lost the two that really mattered (US Open semi + Cincy final). Djokovic is a very deserving world number three who just needs to break his Slam final/ Masters Series win draught.

Yep he's got to beat a big dog at a slam, got to win a semi or he's a wasted talent. Although talent is mental as well as physical, so maybe he isn't that talented? :shrug:

i still don't think he can perform at slams..performed very well in MS and won a bag of MM titles...

Hes playing better but again... Hes just not living up to his potential when it matters most at the slams.. Its as if him and Murray are Slam handicapped

Yes Nole has to start living up to his hype at the slams, or nobody will care about his W-L record.

Federer 25-4 (.862)
Djokovic 36-6 (.857)

That's before taking into accont the fact Djokovic's actually 35-6 since Roland Garros and so even if he wins Paris he won't surpass either of those guys. Most people with any sanity would have stripped out the Grass season when trying to big up Djokovic, but of course you aren't sane nor smart. If Djokovic should not win the Paris he's also behind Davydenko in terms of general prestige and Del Potro's ahead of him regardless as well.

I think none of the top four guys are having a good second half of the year.
