What is your favorite 2009 ATP Masters 1000 tournament?

You beat me to this question, although after my 'favourite ATP500 event of 2009 (http://www.menstennisforums.com/showthread.php?t=154012)' thread flopped, I considering giving it a miss anyway.

My favourite of the year was Indian Wells. I always like this event because it signals the start of a patch of important tournaments. Plus it was where my favourite player got to world number one all those years ago. This year was also a good tournament, and after Nadal won it he had a ranking points lead of over 4000.

 I don't know why, but Miami has such a fun atmosphere, the crowds are really cool, and the matches are very entertaining, which is why I give it a slight edge over Monte Carlo. MC is by far the most beautiful of all the Masters events. Who wouldn't wanna play in a place so beautiful???

Miami... I guess the fact that I've been there, and it was my first real tennis tournament tips the scale. But I like how pretty the grounds are, like the courts, like how you can get real close to the players (I got fed's autograph just standing in the right spot at the right time), stadiums are good size, practice courts are open to all and everyone can see their fav player up close, atp and wta are there, just feels like a slam, but, so much nicer and more intimate - I went to the us open this year too - it was a zoo - could barely get near any players - just way too big...
