Is the forest green surface the most aesthetically pleasing on tour?

Have to admit I find it suitably orgasmic.

It's been there over a year now and as far as I know it hasn't once been ripped off.

The generic blue....well it's so dead to me. Probably the 2nd best on offer is the Red Rukortpro in the Russian events.

But yes. There's a charm about the green that the rest of the tour hasn't even come close to.

Thoughts folks?

I personally like purple surfaces the best. Purple is the opposite colour of yellow so you can see the ball the best (important when watching low quality feeds or highlights).

I like the red/brown colors in Basel and the true blue at the Australian Open.

I agree with the green being the best. It's very easy on the eyes.

:eek::eek:

it's very unpleasant to my eyes, despite the fact that I like to wear green most.

I love the sharp blue of the Auustralian Open. The surrounding courts are beautiful as well. It looks a very picturesque venue on tv.

i think blue is better, the valencia surface was great

green is a warmer color than blue. that's the main reason why most people like it better. at the AO for example blue makes a very good color.

i also prefer warmer colors especially in winter.

all green was the best, USO before 2005, AO before 08, like Miami was

all this green and blue is shit.

Its disappoingting that most of the hardcourts are blue these days, just as it was all-green about a decade ago..!! ~all-green to all-blue,, so unoriginal:sad:

Bercy is a little interesting, as far as i can recall Bercy is the only one with green inside the lines & blue outside [normally its the other way around]..

But oh so painful when watching low quality indoor tennis this time of the season.

i like the current bercy court colour... the french are all over that dulux colour chart like a bad rash... legends... is good contrast... the blue smashed me up pretty bad at the aussie open this year... but, didnt hinder my viewing pleasure, i just felt like a frikken smurf...

Annual bump.

Forest green still reigns supreme.

I could watch Massu play against an actual ball machine on this court for ten hours and not get bored.

I like the purple in Miami, and the AO blue is just :hearts:

Another reason why AO is clearly the best slam.

Green strikes the eye in such a way as to require no adjustment whatever and is, therefore, restful. Being in the centre of the spectrum, it is the colour of balance - a more important concept than many people realise. When the world about us contains plenty of green, this indicates the presence of water, and little danger of famine, so we are reassured by green, on a primitive level. Negatively, it can indicate stagnation and, incorrectly used, will be perceived as being too bland.

I always like the AO surface color, but hate the main court surroundings (at least the way the feel viewing on tv)…. But anything's better than RG, really awful to view on TV, ball disappears in the rust.

Wimbledon grass on the first day is so beautiful. AO true blue is lovely as well, Basel is nice, as is the green aforementioned, i really liked the carpet when it was in use. WHY IS CARPET GONE :(

The homogenous surface plan the ATP have will soon come to haunt them. Making every tennis tournament the same speed isn't fun :(

Good stuff Arsen.

Good to know that as usual, my opinion is factually correct.

The blue courts at the AO always remind me of swimming-pools..

I guess I prefer the colours to be not quite as bright, like at Valencia.
Though Paris green is also fine by me.
Not a fan of red and purple, though...

yup.

A lot of love for the Oz Open blue on blue here. It's no' bad but it's no Paris either.

The camera angle in Paris also makes for exceptional viewing conditions.

AO without a doubt. Green is a good color, but it makes it difficult to see the ball on low quality feeds.
