The team will be announced tomorrow, I guess both might have a place in the team and we will only know the day before the tie starts who will be playing.

I wish Czech the best of luck even though I hate Berdych.

True, but I hoped someone maybe had an insight or more info. Both are in bad form lately, and both are not completely fit I guess. Ferrer had a hamstring injury and Verdasco a foot injury, and he is playing London as well. Ferrer has done great in DC this year, so he might get preference. Also maybe Nadal doesn't play, and they'll both play. But I guess Nadal gives priority to winning the Davis Cup while actually playing the final himself.

in the radio they said that Nadal and Ferrer will play singles and Lopez/Verdasco will play the doubles rubber, but there's nothing confirmed yet

Thanks. So Ferrer must be recovered from his hamstring injury earlier. It's still a few weeks ofcourse. Hope he plays.

I guess it might be Nadal and Ferrer for singles, and maybe Verdasco could play the 5th rubber if needed.

Juan Carlos Ferrero will also take part of the team, at least during the training.

I think Jaro should have nominated Cermak to play doubles with Dlouhy (or another good doubles especialist like Damm, Levinsky, Vizner, Skoch or... Krkoska). This time I think it could work better. Stepanek is a good doubles player, anyway.

Doubt Dlouhy will play doubles anyway - unless one of Stepanek/Berdych gets injured.

Berdych, Štěpánek will play double too, Dlouhý hasn't suitable partner. Paes is unfortunately Czech tennis player :-))
And what about Verdasco? Is he injured?

I guess if the matches on Friday go to 5 sets, and then I think it can be physically more demanding than it would be in a hard court, Jaro Navratil may pick Dlouhy to play (probably with Stepanek who has good doubles skills). But indeed he picked Tomas and Radek for doubles in all ties this year.

Ferrer-Stepanek will be quite interesting. Every best-of-5 match between them went over 5 sets...

I think this will be already decided on Saturday.

Don't think that Saturday will be the last day. Czechs grab at least one point tomorro.
