Bad match

Off course its a bad match, just like Federer-Nadal always is: the guys style don´t fit each other so they will make many Unforced Errors.
No need to bash Denko or Soderling.

Quite a good match. A little dip in the second where he dropped serve, but at the same time Davy started playing alot better so can't blame all on him. :)
It'll be a really tough one againt Djoko, really hope that he'll play good in that match.

well, it wasn't the best of matches. the third set was of the highest level, though. great mentality from robin however.

Suprised Davydenko lost his way for once in the last game. He always seems to solid mentally.

well, it wasn't the best of matches. actually i think the third set was of the highest level. great mentality from robin however.

mentally he was strong, but I thought that the first set had the lowest quality, or maybe to put it that there were too many easy holds and no pressure until the final game.

I doubt either player is crazy about this court. It's not exactly taylormade for clean hitters who like to hit winners.

Anyway, good to see Robin keep on winning. He is so much tougher to beat these days even when he's not at his best.

Disgusting result. Kolya should be ashamed of losing to such an useless clown, at least as ashamed as Federina

:yeah:

6-3 3-6 6-4

Soderling was lucky, Davydenko played 10th game of the final set below his standards.

What does Soderling need to do to qualify for London?

it's a shame that two of the finest shotmakers on tour don't feel comfortable playing indoors:sad: On the other hand pathetic pushers like Nadull and Mugray are scraping through by just receiving the ball...tennis is dying

Kolya  Why was he so nervous?

I think he has some antipathy against Soderling and doesn´t play as good as he can against him.

Reach the final, as long as verdasco doesn't reach SF – in that case he has to win.

On the other hand Paris played quite fast in the spring this year. Nothing is what it used to be. ;)

I like contrasting surfaces, but hard courts should be fast and slick making the ball skid, just like clay should be slow and rough making the ball sit up more. I am however nowhere near as bothered by fast claycourts as much as I puke on slow and sticky hardcourts. This surface is as big a joke as that in use at Indian Wells and Miami. Shots which should sizzle through the court like beautiful clean winners just stop and sit up being nullified.

Clay is better for play like that (much longer points) since it's way more forgiving on the body.

Nice win for Soderlegend. Not a very good match, but at least he served well. Tomorrow he faces Djokovic... that will be a tough one.

Typical comment from indoor freaks who can't hit a three strokes rally to save their lives

your posterboy Soderprick will get his ass leveled off by Djoko, I'll enjoy it much :)

Figures. The one time Soderling isn't in Federer section of a draw, Federer loses. Would've been a clear path to the semis. Sod has no chance against Djoker I'm afraid.

Pathetic seeing these bitter Nadull-tards still angry from Nadull's FO embarrassment.
