Since this is likely his last tournament, will he make a goodbye speech after his final match like Agassi did?

He did 1 in Shanghai (after losing to Berdych), so i would assume so, and i really do hope so :)

From what I understand, after his last match (hopefully not today!) they will present him with a trophy representing the keys to Bercy.... So, there should be a speech along with that.

God, this really sucks.

Yes, he'll make a speech, but hardly anybody will listen, any more than people listen to speeches after winning a tournament.

He's a (great) tennis player, not a politician!

Marat is pretty close to a politician! His speeches are epic.. And I am sure he will make one after the presentation. (This really does suck. :bigcry:)

I'm pretty sure a lot of people will listen. There were plenty listening to his speeches in Asia and I don't think this will be any different, he has a lot of fans at Bercy.

This thread wouldn't survive without one of your bot-like comments. You must be dreaming Berdych and Gulbis every night.

If they are winning, it's the worst possible nightmare for Bilbo, which explains the obsessive comments.

Bilbo is seriously one of the worst posters on MTF. Great achievement IMO.

Safin's 2005 Australian Open Speech (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5rb4vuVVy1k)

Without practice, in his third language, after a four-set Grand Slam (the day after dethroning Federer). I doubt I could stand up, let alone give a witty speech :).
