Corey Feldman 11-08-2009, 04:02 PM Congrats. Mickey, as you know Misha always sucks.the thing with Misha today was he was too tired anyway, he said it to trainer through 1st set tennizen 11-08-2009, 04:07 PM Murray:woohoo: After the USO fiasco, good to see him hold a title. Still needs to go a long way play wise Andi-M 11-08-2009, 04:09 PM Didn't see it but apparently the aggression and willngness to take it on was back, which is good. It was just an allround good performance tons of variety, slice, dropshots, lobs, FH/BHwinners , he is hitting his crosscourt BH very very well. His FH was OK, not a liability anyway and he dictated 90% of play today. After the horror against Mayer didnt think we would see such a good performance from him this week. Nidhogg 11-08-2009, 04:13 PM Oh well. Murray did what he does better than in the earlier matches. Youzhny didn't really know what to do. Sunset of Age 11-08-2009, 04:15 PM Better to play crap in the beginning of the tournament and improve with each match than the other way round. ;) Congrats, Muzza :hatoff:, and  Misha. Sapeod 11-08-2009, 04:18 PM Easy title for Murray. 6th title of the season. Most of any player :yeah: The beast is back. Two pages, and no haters except GlennMirnyi! SaFed2005 11-08-2009, 11:35 PM I didn't see the match but I guess he must have pushed Youzhny off the courts today. Next year Murray is going to win the Grand Slam by pushing everyone left and right off the courts. MIMIC 11-08-2009, 11:36 PM Incredibly boring match....but that's to be expected in Murray's matches. Junk ball after junk ball after junk ball....it was lulling me to sleep. But whatever. A win's a win. fast_clay 11-09-2009, 12:52 AM this thoroughbred murray looking good first start up after a spell... gulzhan 11-09-2009, 02:09 AM Misha decided to play Murray's game  Not sure it was a right decision but I think he enjoyed it at times  3c273 11-09-2009, 03:50 AM Murray showed the world what the essense of tennis is, it is about placement, spin, pace, rythem, and above all - mind game , instead of those brainless ball bashing. Corswandt 11-09-2009, 11:35 AM Incredibly boring match....but that's to be expected in Murray's matches. Junk ball after junk ball after junk ball....it was lulling me to sleep. But whatever. A win's a win. Murray is a snoozer. I don't care that he's #4. Murray is a human sleeping pill. Misha looked worn down from making so many finals lately and defeating top ten players. This if you happen to dislike Murray's game style. Murray showed the world what the essense of tennis is, it is about placement, spin, pace, rythem, and above all - mind game , instead of those brainless ball bashing. This if you happen to like it. "Muzza" was at his most Muzza-esque, all sorts of junk and puffballs, just looping up his FH 95% of the time, a few amazing gets, and a handful of big out-of-nowhere BH winners here and there. Youzhny couldn't find any kind of rhythm. Dealt well with Murray's junk for the most as he's a skilled player, but didn't find a way to take over the rallies. Burrow 11-09-2009, 11:40 AM Youzhny is old and past it. Corswandt 11-09-2009, 11:42 AM Youzhny is old and past it. Good late season surge considering how shite he was earlier on this year though. Rafa = Fed Killa 11-09-2009, 11:49 AM Nole the man beats Fed to win a title. Murray the clown beats a career loser to win a title. JolánGagó 11-09-2009, 11:51 AM Youzhny is old and past it. Still decades ahead for him to be wanked over his posters mosaics by clueless fangals/boys around the world  Bernard Black 11-09-2009, 03:27 PM Vamos Murray. Ichiban1920 11-09-2009, 03:28 PM Murray's pushing was good enough to beat a player who's career is pretty much over. Sapeod 11-09-2009, 03:31 PM Nole the man beats Fed to win a title. Murray the clown beats a career loser to win a title. It's not Murray's fault they're in different tournaments, you clown. rocketassist 11-09-2009, 03:34 PM Still decades ahead for him to be wanked over his posters mosaics by clueless fangals/boys around the world  US Open 2006 still hurts, doesn't it? JolánGagó 11-09-2009, 03:37 PM US Open 2006 still hurts, doesn't it? Switch on at least three(3) brain cells before talking to me, please. | |
