He was kinda lucky he wasn't bagelled the final set really. Djoko went half to sleep also though.

Now congratulate Roger for winning 4th consecutive title at home. :p

The sam things with Wawrinka after that everybody was thinking Stanislas or Radas get Djoko done, he is winning it after exhaust in third by his opponents.

Well, this is what seperates the top players from the rest of the pack, getting the job done. Well done Novak, great mental fortitude.

If Federer somehow wins his semi final match today, then it should be a very interesting final.

Stepanek's game is so great to watch but he always comes with chokes like this one.

After US Open 2007 and today's match he won't beat Djokovic once again.

Nole showing some brain muscle these past two days. http://i38.tinypic.com/wssqk1.jpg I just hope he doesn't mentally crap out in the final. Fed-Djoke matches could be great but they tend to bring out the worst in one another.

How many languages can Novak speak?

Let's face it,you need luck in every match, but he showed some resilience too,it would've been so easy to give the match to Radek when he was 0-40 down.

like when he played 00 on Hernich , he said it wasn't his play but Hernich didn't play well

Nole's mental strength can't be faulted this tournament. Winning two matches in a row from a losing position while playing far from his best - just champion stuff. :worship:

I daresay he isn't playing solid enough to beat the big-nosed Swiss but it's still been an interesting tournament nonetheless. :)

I don't think saving three match points is called lucky, Nole has fought back like real champions do. I've seen Fed doing that a lot of times, winning in adversity. So maybe Novak's learning after all... This final should be interesting! I hope Nole wipes out Fed on the court... just dreaming.

PS: I'm so sick of all those haters calling Dkokovic quitter and faker, you people have a serious problem, grow up already. It's more interesting to have discussions with mature people that can argumentate their opinions and not some fanatics that come up with the same nonsense again and again. I don't hate any player and surely I don't insult any of them and I try to stay objective with them, sadly not many people do.

Exactly, the haters who call him fake and whatnot fail to realize that he hasn't retired due to an injury a single time this year. His AO retirement was due to illness. Seriously the 'faker' argument is completely outdated.

Novak is the fittest boy on tour these days.

Credit to Novak for pulling out the win...but let's face it: Stepanek is a "dog"...and simply came up lame when the pressure was on...

The only way he could ever hope to make it to the Masters Cup is by following the path he took last year: playing when everyone ahead of him pulled out or refused to go.
