I'm guessing this thread title has been played out a lot here over the past. Still, I'm new here and would like to know who's your favorite. Give reasoning's for your answer if you wish.

Mine is Federer. I just enjoy looking at him play so much. When he pulls off a great shot it makes me giggle. :)

Robin Soderling. I guess it's partly because I'm Swedish too :/... but I do love to watch his aggressive playing style. Also, he took Nadal apart in the French Open and I've never liked Rafa (neither his game nor his personality).

My favourite player will always be Guga. I srsly doubt there will ever be another player who can captivate me as much as he did. I won't even try to explain why (do I even need to?), or I'll end up writing an essay. My favourites before him were Goran and Meligeni, and before Goran, it was Noah. I also liked Lendl and Borg a lot, but never ~loved~ them. Obvs. I like lots of different styles, and other factors count.

My favourite active player is Nico Lapentti. Surprisingly enough, it wasn't his looks that first drew me to him (:p), it was the fact that he was always referred to as "Guga's friend" by the press here, at a time when I pretty much only had eyes for Guga. So it got me curious, I started paying attention to him, and I was hooked: he's a smart, resourceful player, with a wonderful touch and variation, immaculate sportsmanship, interesting personality. And that is why I forgive him for all the five-setters and ~4hr three-setters he's put me through over the years (oh, boy...).

Among the top players, Nadal. I also like Nole and the Frenchies a lot. Oh, and I miss Mario so much, I hope the illness is really behind him and he can make a comeback this time.

No, I'm not a glory hunter. My fourth favourite one is Gilles Simon. So, you see,.... It's just a coincidence that my favourite players are the first ones.
