With the score at 30/30 Tsonga hits a winner which is called out, but Tsonga didn't hear the outcall or the Umpire calling the score 40/30 rather than 30/40, so he doesn't challenge as he thought his shot was called good. He wins the next point, and so he thinks he has broken rather than gotten to deuce.
