Bad match up for Fernando, who seemed resigned to the fact he would lose this match. :(
Shanghai R3: Davydenko def. Gonzalez 6-3 7-5VolandriFan 10-15-2009, 07:31 AM Bad match up for Fernando, who seemed resigned to the fact he would lose this match. :( Månu 10-15-2009, 07:32 AM It's gonna be tough for Gonzalez to make it to London TMJordan 10-15-2009, 07:32 AM Nicky D playing well again. Keep it up you Ukrainian sex machine. rubbERR 10-15-2009, 07:32 AM gonzo is set-up machine to davydenko, he plays exacly how he wants against gonzo  tennis is all about mug matches like this thesedays. Voo de Mar 10-15-2009, 07:33 AM Also their previous meeting (Montreal this year) was finished after Gonzalez's double fault in 12th game after an attempt to serve 2nd serve ace :o The difference - then at 30-40, today at 15-40. madmax 10-15-2009, 07:34 AM Kolya simply has Gonoz's number:devil: The match was NID, and I think both players knew it.. rubbERR 10-15-2009, 07:36 AM davydenko won gonzalez masters cup 2007 when he was horrendous form, its all about match-up  jonathancrane 10-15-2009, 07:37 AM Expected rubbERR 10-15-2009, 07:37 AM flavio cipolla and diego jungueira top level to save tennis. Ad Wim 10-15-2009, 07:38 AM Never in doubt, Davy just plays too quick for Gonzo. Nidhogg 10-15-2009, 07:38 AM Gonzo up to his antics as usual when he gets frustrated. He was irritated about Davy taking a couple of seconds to ponder a mark before challenging. The response from Bernardes was that it's perfectly fine to take a bit of time to inspect the mark, so in a point later on he looked at a winner mark from Davy which he pretty much knew was in, but in demonstrative fashion he took a long walkabout around it to look at it from four or five angles before challenging. Expected outcome, but it's weird that Feña doesn't slice more in this matchup. He got his only break of the match when Davy was serving at *4/2 in the second by abusing it.
