It was good to see Nadal even up his head-to-head record with Blake last week and I don't think he'll let this match slip either. Nadal has a positive head-to-head against just about every top player so it's a real pity he lost his first match to Cilic last week.

Blake is too much of a clown to win this match. As much of a grace as Nadull is to tennis, Blake is even worse.

If good Blake, than Blake. It's his decision to make: a)be a clown or b) play "my game" and destroy Nadullest.

Considering the form Nadal is in right now, I'd give this one to Blake. He beat him 3 times already.

But I bet rafa in 2...

if Blake wasn't a natural born choker, he would be ripping the moonballer into pieces anytime he plays him on hard...however he was very unlucky last week - and Fortune usually favours the brave, so I go with Blake in 2.

Blake is a great player

there's so much hate for the guy, and its uncalled for

great ground strokes, amazing athlete- so yeah, his second serve is murray-esque but... he hits a 1HBH therefore he instantly wins cool points

having said that- Nadal wont lose this match unless blake really ups his game

Nadal>Blake, its not that hard to figure out. Rafa should win the match. He beat Blake last week while not playing up to his best. Don't let personal feelings about a player let you make bad predictions, some of you would be terrible gamblers.

The ATP rigged the draw to give Nadal the chance to get a winning H2H vs an over the hill Blake.

Clay Death

clay monster continues to struggle with his rhythm, form, fitness, and confidence. having been forced out of the game on account of injuries no less than 3 times this year alone can do that.

still he should still take this in 3 sets. i am happy if he wins but equally happy if he loses this one. it will buy him more time to fully recover from his injuries.

i also would hate like hell to see him miss another davis cup final in december if he manages to compound the knee issues again. so its best if he loses early here. there will be time enough to win matches and titles when he is fully healthy and fit.

Nadal in 2 sets. The slower courts in Shanghai should really help him handle Blake's pace.

its not really about the court speeds at the moment. Clay Monster can win on any surface and he has proven that. its little more work on hard courts and a lot more taxing on his knees and stuff but he can win on those courts.

the problem is lack of proper rhythm, form, fitness, and confidence.

for a heavy topspinner like him, it can only come from sustained practice, training, and match play. its tricky since the hard courts also tear his body apart.

so the solution is more work on fitness and more practice on softer surfaces like clay so he can keep his massive ground game tuned up. adjustment to hard courts or even grass does not take that long as he has already shown.

and fewer matches on hard courts. it would not hurt to cut out any excess activity on hard courts. for instance, he did not need to play the china open. he could have done without montreal as well since it was clear he was still struggling with some knee isssues. he tried too hard and tore up his stomach muscles in the process.

earlier in the year, he did not need to go rotterdam even when it was clear that he was worn out and fully exhausted from such a tough campaign at the australian open.

Great job ATP. The same match back-to-back tournaments. That's real good for the sport.

And watch out for James. He's got a new coach that he's going to show for. He will play Rafa tight

Nadal did win the Australian Open. Though it wasn't easy. But it was clearly a better showing than at the faster US Open courts. He's also won twice in Indian Wells. Those are also slow hardcourts. Obviously he prefers clay and I guess grass over hardcourts, I think the bounce speed on the hardcourt still matters for him.

Pretty much a wolf3d clone, but it was cool how you could go back to levels after you had finished them. And how there were non enemy scientists.

Actually they sold them the wolf3d engine, but just after the release of this game...Doom came out so with that competition the game was never gonna be too popular. btw :worship: i use dosbox these days.

Look at the green Clay monster and Uncle Toni. Hopefully it's a sign
