Ivan Ljubicic 10/04/1999 to 10/08/2009 and the streak is still going, probably for 2 more years.

finished 1999= 77
2000= 91
2001= 37
2002= 49
2003= 43
2004= 22
2005= 9
2006= 5
2007= 18
2008= 44
2009= no worse than 36 and probably top 30.

never dropped out of the top 100 in those 10 years at any point of the season

:rolleyes: Legenda does not need such lame attempts at glorification. Unlike this "marvelous" rare achievement, typical for the majority who've been to the top of the game and have not suffered long-term injuries, the DC feat is two-of-a-kind.

Interestingly enough (or not), this week marks the exact 10-year anniversary of some mug named Federer taking up uninterrupted residence in the Top 100 as well.

after the finish of the 2010 season, both can claim to be in the top 100 for 3 different decades :lol: 90's 2000's 2010's

um... I like him, but not that impressive. That means little. Robredo, one of the most hated players here in MTF has been in the top 50 for 9 years. There was also some guy that was in the top 10 for 16 years :)

Connors had 17 consecutive years in the top 100(1973-1989).

Also this has less meaning now that top players get a protected top 75 ranking if they get injured.

not if you havent had to use that protection, Ljubo has never missed a big amount of time due to injury.

Didn't stop him from spanking Roddick in front of the US crowd :wavey:

Seeing as how Roddick is apparently one of the worst players ever according to many on MTF....I don't see how this is much of an accomplishment.

Either way, even a blind squirrel finds a nut once in a while.

... which explains the duck ever wining a slam, I agree

Lol....claim that all you want....if the GOAT weren't around he'd have several more. I can only imagine the level of hate Roddick would arouse if he won 4 or 5 slams.

It must be gratifying indulging in what ifs... If he played in 1990s, he'd have a dozen I'm sure :lol: 80's even better. Every era but this one, and the true duck potential would shine :lol:

Because these guys think Roddick is as good as Boris Becker who 'got lucky' there was no Fed :haha:

Roddick is no Becker, but he's better than most of the mugs out there today. He'd have sucked in the 80's or 90's.

Sorry for the thread hi-jack....this should be about Ljuba Truba's incredibly average career.

It's scary to think how he would dismantle Sampras, Edberg, Becker, Lendl, McEnroe, Wilander,... :lol:

Over $7.5 million in earnings, being ranked in the top 10 for 2 seasons, semi at RG is far above average career, I'm sure his parents are proud of him.
