Beijing R2: Söderling def. Robredo 6/3 6/3

Good on Robin for wrapping it up quickly. The opening game of the second was a fun marathon which went to something like 9 deuces. Other than that it was quite onesided. Robin only lost five points on his serve throghout the match.

Yes, really nice match! BUT I'm soo disappointed that they will probably not show Robins match against Ljubo because he plays on court 1!! Why, would anyone even do that?!?!
Plus i'm worried about that match since Ljubo seems to have Sodas number if youre going by the H2H. :P But I'm hoping for a good match via the scoreboard then atleast :(

Soderling should make a pigeon from Robredo in the next meeting :yeah:

Not even close Boredo...
Ljubo vs. Soda with possible stream tommorow... i guess

I doubt Ivan will be able to jerk Robin around the court to any great extent tomorrow. Soda should overpower Ljubo for most of the time, but he'll need to take his chances when they appear.

Robredo shouldn't even watch tennis let alone play it. He should be a nude model. oh wait. he has done that already.

Robredo losing left, right and centre these days

he was some kind of force on hardcourts in the past few years.

become cannon fodder lately.

Indoor monster wins again, well done Robin, keep it going

Irony is, he's probably best on slow/mid high-bounce courts now, where people can't hit past him, but he can unleash the beast (aka his forehand). Beijing is ideal for him.

robredo off-form but he would not have won this match anyway.

I really hope Robin could lose the match and come to Shanghai early~~:D

I read from London race thread that Söderling is closing gap between him and Gonzalez to be in top 8.

His main rival Davydenko lost to Cilic, so he has a good chance to overtake Gonzo soon. IMO, he deserves more to play in London than Gonzo or Donkey.

yes Robind does
but Nikolay also deserves I guess~
